“We ended up staying here last minute after canceling our original reservation, and we’re glad we did. It’s a small, quaint hotel that was clean, quiet, and had plenty of parking. The pool area was a highlight—lots of chairs and umbrellas, and the pool stayed wonderfully warm all day. The only downsides were that the A/C in our room could have been much colder, and the hotel should do a better job preventing people who park for beach access from using the pool. “My wife and I travel to the Daytona Beach area every few months, to check on a relative. We have stayed at several “On the Beach Hotels” this was by far our favorite. The entire staff was very welcoming treating their guests like family. We will be staying here on our future visits.”

“The good: The room is very clean. The bed and pull out mattress was comfortable. The balcony was a perfect view of the ocean. The breakfast is delicious with many options for low calorie and some gluten free. The staff are extra helpful and very friendly. They quickly delivered anything we asked for (sheet set for couch, an extra pillow, and an extra bath towel). It's easy to check out pool towels. Both elevators were fast. “Nice spot! I’d come back”

“On first impressions I would have given the hotel a 1 or 2 rating. The reviews I read are not too far off. I was hoping for the best, but prepared for the worst. We had to block a car to check-in. The check-in process was fine, but the room was 90 degrees. Going into a room that warm is not very welcoming and the AC unit is very high up. There is a remote to help though. I was worried it would not cool the room and we would be spending the night in a sauna. I recommend turning the AC unit on and……
