Noosa is a lovely resort and we were really looking forward to our week there. Resort was fully booked when we arrived. Initial impression very good, however our villa was far from perfect. It was very dated, decor worn and tired, as too were the furnishings. Roman blinds thick with years of dirt and dust, skirting boards and pictures similar, tops of air con units not cleaned for months either. Carpets stained and dirty. Whole place needed deep cleaning and updating. Visited a couple of the other units during our stay and realised we had definitely drawn the short straw as they were cleaner and better furnished and cared for than ours. When checking out we pointed out that we had been disappointed at the standard of cleanliness and furnishing, and that we thought it fell short of our expectations. Our comments were greeted negatively. We will not be returning to coral beach.

Hi Philip, Thank You for staying with us recently, it was lovely to meet you and your family. When you checked out you raised your concerns as to your accommodation, which we appreciated (positive or negative feedback is good and we take it all on board), at no time were your comments greeted negatively, in fact from memory we had a discussion for about 15 minutes in this regard and our exact words to you were – Sorry you were disappointed but why didn’t you tell us you were not happy and we could have rectified the problems for you. You stayed with us for a week, we had seen you several times during your stay and at no time did you raise any concerns or disappointment or we would have most certainly done our best to alleviate them and make your stay as comfortable as possible. To say your comments were treated negatively is very unfair & untrue because that simply wasn’t the case, when you departed we shook hands after our conversation and wished each other well. As to your comments about the cleanliness of the unit, the carpets and lounge were professionally cleaned in February, air-conditioning units are serviced and maintained annually and we did notice some dust on the skirtings after our conversation so the unit has now undergone a spring clean – thank you for pointing this out. As for the blinds, they have now been replaced (as advised to you). We are sorry you feel you won’t return, but should you change your mind we would love to be given the opportunity to we would love to be given the opportunity to have you stay with us again and you be in Noosa again.
