Cons: Price and refitted out and painted
Location: location is good.
considering I live out of motels 5 nights out of 7 because of my work, and as I compare motels from Toowoomba to Townsville and east to Roma, I find the price way too expensive and in comparison with other motels not sufficiently dressed up with comfortable furniture and knocked around. The weekly price of 125$ should be what it is on the weekend, no more.

Cockroaches and NO Sleep!Posted May 14, 2015 on Wotif
Pros: We were offered a Secure carpark, rather than outside.
Cons: Everything stated above!
Location: Mooloolaba is a lovely place.
We stayed at the Newport Apartments this week for an overnite stay We found 3 large black Cockroaches, one walking along the wall, one coming out from under our Bed and another in the shower recess! The actual Bed felt more like a Jumping Castle than a Bed, it was very soft and lumpy. The Bedspread smelt like cigarettes! The Floor tiles were lifting in our Apartment and were missing in the Bathroom..... We couldn't wait to get out of the place. I rang and spoke to a Receptionist the next day, who advised me she couldn't do anything because we had booked through a third party WebSite! Further the Manager of the Place was away on Holidays and he might get around to contacting me when he got back. I WOULD NEVER STAY AT THIS PLACE AGAIN!

Pros: The outdoor jacuzzi
In a room just outside foyer. Woken all night by anyone who came in and out of the building. People talking in foyer for an hour at midnight. No reason they should not be but room just in too close proximity to social area. Was staying here for work meeting and did not get a decent night sleep. Will not book again. Cockroaches in the bathroom.

UnsatisfactoryPosted May 4, 2015
I paid $220 a night, for a motel room not hotel room which I was expecting! The toilet was unclean, there were baby cockroaches in the bath tub, the fridge was located in the bathroom/laundry and the bed was broken and made a loud banging noise each time i moved slightly, or even juat sat in it. Not what I expected when i was paying $220 for 1 nights stay!

Newport MooloolabaPosted Apr 29, 2015 on Hotels
This was a rundown, one bedroom apartment dating back to the 60s with the bedroom in the kitchen. Nothing had been updated, dark, looking at a fence in the basement. Close to shops and the beach but overpriced. The towel rail off and it was dingy. I will not be going back.

Hotel is nicely located. But the check out time is too early, 10,AM ... For a beach resort.
