Charming low-rise hotel enclosing a warm tropical garden felt resort-like in a city. My garden view room didn't face the garden but the opposite side, where you cannot fail to notice the occasional din from nearby the train tracks and the mosque's call to prayers. The room is itself is pleasant, well furnished with spacious shower and bathroom and good clean amenties. But on closer look, around the edges you can see the need for refurbishment - wallpaper, toilet seats etc. None of was a problem for me, though. The breakfast spread is adequate, but it could do more options for salad greens. Local options in the spread were a tad disappointing with the meat and fish seemingly over or under cooked. Croissants are freshly baked on site, which I loved and freshly ground coffee was very nice. I dined some evenings at cafe - the large portions of cheesecake and tiramisu were a lovely end to the dinner. Mosquitoes were a unpleasant problem for pool-side seating for dinner. The hotel should really do something to rid it Otherwise full length garments are strongly advised if you attract them. Overall a pleasant stay, but I would be prepared with some anti-mosquito repellants and sprays if I stayed there the next time.Wifi was good around the hotel and in-room, a tad slower than what I'm used to but still good.
