Surrey days in

Last minute booking for 2 nights. A lot better then I expected... I'm usually quite picky where I stay but I was pleasantly surprised. Staff were very very friendly and I don't think i heard a single sound from my room during the entire stays. My room was clean. It had a full stove and oven which was a surprise. Comfy bed and fluffy pillows. Honestly, the only negative thing I could say is that the breakfast wasn't all that great but I guess most continental breakfasts are pretty limited anyways. Sky train is a 1 minute walk away as well which is great for exploring.

Bed sheet stain.

Bed sheet stain. I asked the front desk to change my linen and a grumpy receptionist says ok, and never happened. First, there was no housekeeper, second they couldn't find a clean sheet, even after I offered to change on my own. Breakfast staff was lovely though. Staff should be more friendly.

Good room; confusing front desk

At every one of the many hotels we've booked and paid for through Expedia, checkout has been a quick "You're all paid up; come again…" but here they produced a bill with a different card number…said it was for Expedia…weird and confusing.

Decent hotel

First time in Surrey. I was pleasantly surprised. Kitchenette room was nice. Bathroom was nice. Nothing old or worn about my second floor room. Never used the breakfast. Even had an elevator which was nice. Surrey wouldn't be my first choice but if we had to stay I would use this hotel again for sure

Bedbugs and 30kb/s wifi, your choice to save money

Pros: how cheap it was and literally nothing besides that
Cons: literally anything.
Location: 10 minutes walk from major train and bus lines
slow wifi, old furniture and mattress. Staff was on the ball cause i guess they have to apologize so much for the hotel's problems.

Note-------When i booked this hotel ,I told the booking person I have a small Pet(dog) he says ok even I checked before booking this hotel is pet friendly but when I checked in the hotel counter person says ,they have only one pet friendly room that has been gone /So this my experience I booked another hotel room too

Nice hotel, difficult access.

Pros: Nicely appointed room. Clean room. Easy parking.
Cons: it would be nice to have ice located on each floor. Orange drink at breakfast seemed to be orange soda instead of juice. Other breakfast items empty
Location: Other than the access issue already addressed, this location worked well for us. No restaurants or shops nearby.
Nice check-in, great room. Everything was clean and in working condition. Easy parking. Difficult one way exit and entrance to hotel. Cannot access or leave the parking lot in both directions due to a median barrier. That made navigation for us difficult as visitors. Hotel is located in a light industrial/small retail and repair area very near the light rail, but we didn't have any noise issues.

Mediocre experience

Staff was really friendly (e.g. they would let us use the parking during the day after check-out), but many other things made this stay a questionable experience. Arriving at the hotel, everything looked good and check-in was quick. Opening our room, we were quite surprised to see that the room was occupied (nobody in there luckily, but obviously someone was living there). Staff helped us out with another room without any problems. Room was clean, but several bulbs were burnt and there was a second TV standing in front of the actual TV blocking the coffee maker etc... Nothing really bad but simply not up to the standard that you would expect. The breakfast was the other surprise. The room was only half-heartedly separated from fitness equipment and the quality of food very sup par, e.g. there was no cheese and nothing. Probably worst of all, only disposable plastic cutlery and paper plates were offered. I would neither recommend this to a friend nor stay there again.

Thank you Markus for taking time out to write the review. We apologise for the inconvenience at check in regarding the mix up on room allocation. We are upgrading the furniture and fixtures in the room and the TV and writing tables are getting changed so the room would have a completely new look in fall. The breakfast is a free continental breakfast, however we have upgraded by adding a few hot items such eggs , sausages and pancakes. This has been appreciated by most of our guests. We do not offer china crockery or steel cutlery in the hotel. It helps us in providing value to our guests. Should you wish to speak with me please feel free to get in touch with me at the hotel.
