For the size of the room and amount of breakfast that was included it was very expensive

Modern one-bed apartment

Location: Could see Thorpe Park from the window, about 25 mins walk. Plenty of Nearby pubs and restaurants. Decent real ale pub just down the road too
Very clean, spacious one bed apartment with private bathroom, had a basic equipped kitchen - microwave, kettle, fridge, crockery & cutlery, even a tassimo coffee thing. Living room area had virgin cable tv, Apple tv and decent wifi, usb and wireless charging hubs. The place is family run so check-in, check-out times are more restrictive and no 24 hour reception available. The owners were friendly and well mannered so I could imagine they'd respond in all hours. For us as casual visitors (tourists for another word) for 2 nights the place was spot on, decent bars and pubs nearby, local restaurants with various international cousines available. We'd return after a day out, kick back in the living room and chill out, better than a conventional hotel with just a bed in a room. We'd definitely consider visiting again.

On Main Street of Chertsy, near tourist attraction

Pros: The breakfast service and quality.
Cons: More hooked in small ensuites and in the bedroom. One more chair on which to put a suitcase would also be an improvement.
Location: On one of the main high streets in Chertsey, traffic noise in the morning was to be expected and not a problem. Lakes, historical remains, Thorpe Park
Our experience was of being graciously hosted in a small hotel over a Restaurant. Our room was comfortable with dual aspect Windows one of which was needing some attention. The ensuite was extremely small as you might find in a small house and I suggested to the owner that a couple more hooks would have been more helpful in the circumstances. Our overwhelming memory, however, will be of going to breakfast In the restaurant ( approached by going down the outside metal staircase) and being greeted by the 'host' and an array of pristine white tablecloths and napkins beautifully folded. It felt like entering a top class restaurant for a special meal. The choice of a freshly cooked breakfast to order was excellent and on the first morning we opted for the smoked salmon and scramble led eggs served elegantly and with style! The next morning before our journey we enjoyed a ' full English' and one of us had the vegetarian equivalent which was very appreciated. What Hamiltons lacks, compared to entrance foyers, bars and lounges, it makes up for in the quality of its hospitality. I think it's own description of ' boutique' sums it up well and we would certainly return.

Actually made to feel like a person

Pros: Staff, restaurant, location to Heathrow airport, food, decor.
Location: Chertsey High street, but ideal if needing to recover from travel before onward journey.
After a very tiring journey from Salt Lake City this small bistro/accommodation was very close to the airport. The owner contacted me beforehand to understand my requirements and ETA and said although the restaurant closes at 9:30 he would keep it open so we old get a meal. When we arrived I couldn't get my car in the last available space so he moved his own car up the street to allow me to park right outside, then took our case up to the room. We then dived into the Sri Lankan curry buffet and it was delicious, and even had every dish described to us and were never hurried even though it was Kate. Breakfast (included) the next morning was full English with as much juice, tea and coffee we wanted. All in all it set us up nicely for our onward travels and I will certainly stop by in the future when visiting England.

Noisy room

The problem with this hotel as it's situated on a main road and you can hear the traffic when in your room through old sash windows. The current owner has only been there three months and will update it in due course with new double glazed windows. Also, there are only four parking bays and the breakfast needs to have more options on the menu like cereal, fruit and croissants.

Good location, just a shame the Restuarant was unavailable when we stayed. Breakfast very good though.
