Although the main entrance was not something special, the rooms were very nice and clean.

Pros: Location
Cons: Small bathroom
Location: Central Guildford
For a double room the shower/toilet is far too small

Basic, but pleasant.

Posted May 12, 2013
The hotel is pleasant enough, but just very basic. There is no lamp, which made getting into bed in a dark room difficult, and the room generally was very small (particularly the bed) and the amenities basic.

Lovely, well-located night away

Posted May 2, 2013
While only at the hotel for one night, we felt quite at ease and the staff were lovely and helpful. The location is great and a very short walk into the high street area. The room itself was surprisingly more spacious than most of the rooms we've had in Britain and around Europe. I doubt we'll have reason to visit Guildford again, but if we did, booking at this hotel again would be an easy choice for us to make.

Perfect for a weekend break in Guildford

Posted Mar 12, 2013
Pros: Great location and great value.
Cons: Rooms are a tad small and no breakfast included
Location: Top of town with easy access to the train station and a number of resturants.
The hotel is easy to find, driving to it is a doddle (and they do have limited parking), its also very close to the train station just a 2 min walk. Situated at the top of Guildford high street walking into town was really easy. The hotel itself is very clear and nice. A bargain for the price. The rooms are mixed and a bit small, but they are very clear and very warm.

Great Location

Posted Feb 19, 2013
Pros: location
Cons: no lifts
Location: great access to the town and stations
Fab location, London Rd station close by, guildford station not too far. A short walk away from G Live and the town centre makes restaurants and bars easy to get to.

Lack of sleep

Posted Feb 29, 2012
Pros: Central.
Cons: The room was very small. The room was not soundproofed in any way - was kept awake by other guests.
Location: Good location - central without being in the High St.
There was an event at the hotel on the friday evening, resulting in loud and drunken guests staggering through the corridors throughtout the night. Had very little sleep.
