Lovely Stay

Incredible bed and breakfast that will leave lasting memories! Staff was over the top friendly and very accommodating. Room was clean and property amazing. Breakfast was also cooked to order... highly recommend!!

No employees are on the property from 6pm-7am. Our key wouldn’t fit the door. We had to trace someone down at 8pm to let us in the first night. It took 2 hours. The location was good. Parking was lacking. They only serve poached eggs for breakfast. Room was clean but lots of mold in the shower. The tile on the shower floor was slippery. They didn’t vacuum our entire stay. The coffee pot was broken and they refused to replace it. Threatening little signs kept appearing. They charged my credit card twice for the stay. I would not stay there again.

The Foxes was was wonderful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are amazing! Best I have ever had at a bnb. The location is great, easy to walk to everywhere in Sutter Creek. And very quiet too!

Good stay. Excellent facility. Very charming and well kept. Service was good. Can find little to complain about. Only one issue. There was no microwave. I ordered some take out and brought it back to my room to eat later. Later in the evening I wanted to heat my food but realized there was no way to heat it. Not a big fan of cold food so I tossed it.

Great location right in town. We loved being able to eat breakfast on the veranda outside the Honeymoon Suite. On the down side, pull chain toilet ridiculously loud.

Beautiful property, we stayed in the Blue Room. I loved the claw foot tub. Breakfast served in the garden is lovely and the food is great! Fresh cookies in the afternoon and I hear they will soon be serving wine as well. The sheets are some of the softest I have ever come across. We love it all!

Historic and relaxing
I had business nearby, and had to leave around 8 a.m. the staff were gracious enough to bring my breakfast to my room just after 7:30, which made it possible for me to be on time, well fortified with the delicious breakfast. The bed was great, the room was really spacious, and the only negative is the critical parking situation...we were late and had to park in an alley. Overall, a wonderful stay.

We had The Den - wonderful spacious, yet cozy room with foxes everywhere. Softest sheets ever! Delightful to have tailored breakfast in our room and dinner in the patio garden (take out pizza and a bottle of wine purchased after too much wine-tasting)! Wish are stay was longer.

Delightful Inn.....
A very relaxing retreat to enjoy after a wedding anniversary celebration. The staff was friendly and welcoming. And the breakfast were delightful and speacial each morning. I would highly recommend staying at Foxes Inn a real treat to be enjoyed.

10 Stars! Loved this B&B!!
Fantastic B&B! We felt like we were in our own country cottage. When we arrived the fireplace was already on, and made the room feel so cozy. The staff was so friendly. They offered two different times we could have breakfast delivered to the room. This way you can decide if you want to start the day early, or sleep in a little. The breakfast was wonderful. We felt like king and queen for a day. The grounds are pretty, and location is perfect. Cute shops (lots of antiques), restaurants (must try Gold Dust Pizza, best we have ever had!), wine tasting,etc. So many beautiful wineries close by, with very minimal wine tasting fees (some complimentary). We will definitely be back!!

Wonderful Staff
We had a great weekend stay. The Staff is so welcoming-Heather, Sadie & everyone. The breakfasts were so tasty and the scones melted in our mouths. The rooms are very clean, beds very comfortable and it was nice having the fireplace in the room. There was a nice selection of older VCR movies and DVD movies that we picked out.

Good Value, charming B&B
When we arrived we realized The Foxes was right next door to the Sutter Creek Inn, another delightful place we stayed at some 30 years ago. The Foxes staff was as charming as the surroundings. Very quiet and, by B&B standards, very large room. Great value, especially when you factor in the big, delicious and well-prepared breakfast delivered to our room when we wanted it.

Refuge from the heat!
My husband and I were looking for somewhere to go that was quiet, clean, and above all cool due to the fact that we were having construction done on our house and had no air conditioning during the massive heat wave! The Fix's Inn had so many good reviews that we decided to try our first B&B ever! I cannot say enough amazing things about this cute little place! It was just what we needed and more! The staff, the food, clean, comfy beds I could go on and on!

Outstanding hospitality and wonderful food.
Wonderful staff, and a fantastic breakfast (fresh, lovingly prepared, delicious). The inn is steps away from the Sutter Creek historic commercial district, which was both fun and interesting. Accommodations were comfortable, but the best aspects of the stay were the friendly and professional innkeepers, who made us feel welcome.

Great stay at Foxes Inn!
We had a wonderful stay at Foxes Inn in Sutter Creek. The room was large, with all the amenities, and overlooked a nice garden with tables for breakfast. The breakfast was delicious, cooked just for us, and brought to our table in the garden. We will definitely come back here for our next visit.
