My room was very cold, all night I could hear what sounded like a boiler. Very little sleep. On leaving the staff didn’t ask “how was your stay” .. they just took my key without a word. Very poor value for money.

Disappointing

Had booked a double room. Told on arrival that there was only a twin room. Then they said they had a double. It was just a double bed and a Queen Bed had been booked. Breakfast was added at £7.50 PP. This was billed at £15 per person. It was not worth £15 !

Quiet and peaceful but not much going on. Wouldn’t stay again.

Nice but dated.

It was a comfortable stay for the one night but the hotel is very dated and needs some TLC. It could be a really nice place with a lot of potential.

nice hotel pity the bar was closed at 9.30 when we arrived and offered room service only. breakfast was good full english just what you need to kickstart your day

warm welcome!

Very friendly service and good welcome. Not sure whether snow and ice could have been cleared from the drive and the forecourt on the night of 12/13th December? It was quite dangerous. Will certainly come again and recommend it.

Ignore the bad reviews!!

A very comfortable stay. Easy check-in, clean, warm, spacious and comfortable room, great WiFi, pleasant drinks and meal in the bar, good breakfast and very dog friendly. All staff were really friendly, helpful and attentive. We'll be staying again. I'm not sure where the bad reviews have come from! We stay away with work weekly and therefore have experienced a lot of different hotels....

Plenty of parking, lovely comfortable rooms! Didn’t eat so can’t comment on food!
