Such a pleasant place to stayPosted Nov 6, 2015
Rooms were very comfortable. Owners were nice people. Staff were very kind. Horses, Donkeys, Reindeer, and Dogs were a pleasure to be around. Great location for a number of routes. We will definitely be coming back here again.

A Countryside stop close to MotorwaysPosted Oct 31, 2015 on Hotels
Hard to find in the dark down bumpy Road, but was guided in by phone and met outside. Rooms are above stables but are clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast brought to the room. Made a change watching activities in the stables instead of traffic in the morning.

Unique B&B, handy for NECPosted Oct 20, 2015
Pros: It was different to the usual B&B.
Location: Great for the NEC and of course for riding.
E Or Lodge accommodation is above working riding stables so your fellow guests are of the 4 legged variety - donkeys, horses and dogs. All friendly, curious and well behaved! The rooms are warm, modern and comfortable with a lovely ensuite, and the breakfast is delicious. Top marks to the enthusiastic and friendly staff.

Quirky Little GemPosted Sep 30, 2015 on Hotels
A lovely and quirky hotel. It is well off the beaten track, and that track is full of holes. It's easy to negotiate though so that shouldn't be an issue. The hotel its self is us part of a riding school and is a great little hide away. The rooms are small but comfortable and breakfast is served via room service style tray delivered to the room, but bear in mind this is not a hot/cooked breakfast. One small point to consider is that it is quite close to the motorway and while not overly noisy this might be an issue for some. Overall a cracking little place to stay.

ExcellentPosted Sep 24, 2015 on Hotels
Honestly it's not as hard to find as people make out. Look for a Big Green Sign for riding and stables - That is the turning go down the bumpy path till you come to a private house turn right go past the double gates to the house down another bumpy road and it's there. The staff are lovely and friendly, free wifi is provided and breakfast in the morning consisted of cereal, fresh orange juice, toast, crumpet, bowl of fruit (grapes raspberry, blackberry and strawberry) and a pot of yoghurt. All included in the room. We heard the Donkey once or twice but slept like a log Breakfast was arranged for 7am and delivered to room. The room was really nice with tea, coffee and biscuits and was perfect for getting to the NEC where I was for 2 days. (10 minutes car journey - Easy access to and from motorway (M42) Will book for next year as soon as dates are announced. THANK YOU
