Pleasant stay

Pros: Clean, tidy and curtious staff.
Cons: Directions to the hotel would be helpful.
Pleasant stay on a working stables. Lovely horses and donkeys which made for an added treat in the morning.

away in a manger

very Christmassy, spending a night above a stable with Guinness the donkey who was very well behaved. Hosts were friendly and the room comfy. If you want an evening meal, there is not much nearby that stays open late , unless you drive to the nearest town. And you may need a 4wd for that, the approach road looks like it has been recently bombed by the RAF. Other than that, no complaints.

Had a good time! A nice sleep, good continental breakfast. Shame about the drive way and not sign posted very well.

Such a pleasant place to stay

Rooms were very comfortable. Owners were nice people. Staff were very kind. Horses, Donkeys, Reindeer, and Dogs were a pleasure to be around. Great location for a number of routes. We will definitely be coming back here again.

A Countryside stop close to Motorways

Posted Oct 31, 2015 on Hotels
Hard to find in the dark down bumpy Road, but was guided in by phone and met outside. Rooms are above stables but are clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast brought to the room. Made a change watching activities in the stables instead of traffic in the morning.
