Great Staff and service

Pros: Staff
Cons: Cable channels were limited (sports).
Location: Great location for I85, gym, movie theaters, parks etc. nearby
Good quiet location, east access to I85, GREAT friendly staff!

One night stand.

My wife and I planned to sit by the pool to relax after a day of shopping. Imagine our surprise when the Courtyard had no courtyard, just an indoor pool which was closed for renovation - not even an outside chair anywhere. When We ordered burgers at the bistro, they were out of lettuce. This property does not measure up to "Courtyard." Name it something else.

The most comfortable stay anywhere that I have ever stayed! I stayed almost a week and wish I could have stayed longer. The breakfast was fabulous.

Courtyard has gone downhill big time.

The hotel was being remodeled, but that was no big deal. Our room was one of the newly remodeled rooms. It was very nice with a couple exceptions: no place to hang a towel and not enough light. Then light was so dim that I couldn't see to plug in my computer, cell phone, or tooth brush. You could only read if you were directly under a lamp. The breakfast was the worst deal I've ever had. It cost $5.50 from the buffet and $8 with eggs to order. I tried both. The rolls on the buffet were low quality packaged rolls. The fruit was canned. They were out of silverware and we were given plastic when we asked the attendant for some. She explained that all the metal ones were in the dishwasher. Out of napkins. Out of fruit. There was one badly rotted banana on the buffet. I asked for another. The attendant said there were only two left. I picked the best looking, but it turned our to be rotten from one end to the other. The yogurt had been picked over. The juice was canned or bottled. I feel sorry for the poor attendant. She was running her tail off trying to help people, but the problems were caused at levels above her. Despite her difficulties, she smiled and was as pleasant and cordial as can be. Courtyard used have good prices and a very nice complementary breakfast. The price has been raised and the service cut. The new corporate policy is clear. I used to stay at Courtyard a lot, but it is now just above Knights Inn on my list.

Website was misleading

Website said Bar/Lounge but this was not true. Construction was going on at the time of stay.
