Good place to stay
It's a pleasant hotel outside Ulm. We enjoyed a walk along the nearby river. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was fine. The breakfast was good by German standards even though the area for the food was small. Quite a busy road directly outside the hotel. The food at the hotel opposite is nothing special but it has a pleasant beer garden

What can I say, this place is really amazing. Would give this the highest recommendation, you will regret. Breakfast was fantastic and the bed was so comfortable.

Cosy hotel near Ulm
It is very nice hotel. Room was freshly renovated and was very clean. There was very nice terrace, where we could have a breakfast. Communication with hotel personal was good. We had late check-in and they quickly found a solution. I can definitely recommend this hotel.

Great Hotel!
The hotel was much more than I expected. It was in a beautiful location along the Danube River. The desk clerk gave us instructions how to get to the paths along the river to walk the dog, great scenery. The hotel was clean, spacious rooms, a very comfortable bed, great breakfast with a large variety of food for breakfast. There was a restaurant right across the street that served very good food. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay again and would highly recommend to friends and family

No Complaints For One Night
I was only there one night but I was offered a welcome drink upon arrival, given info on where to get dinner, and help connecting to wifi. Only thing of note was that there were no curtains on any of the windows (not even in the bathroom) so it's possible people could see in (was on the 3rd floor so perhaps not but it was an odd feeling) and there was no way to block the light while sleeping. But I slept fine.

A very pleasant stay at Hotel Garni Am Zehntstadl
A really nice hotel/guest house just a short way from Ulm. The staff were really friendly and helpful, providing a welcome drink on arrival which was a lovely surprise after a long journey. The room was nice and comfortable and the breakfasts were excellent. Will definitely look to stay here again the next time that we're in the area. Oh and there is a hotel across the road which has a great restaurant too.

Quiet hotel in quiet location
Quiet hotel, nice room. Nothing in the locality apart from a couple of restaurants. Great if you want total peace and quiet. If you have a car you can drive into Zulu which isn’t far just too far to walk

Very old ( charmingly so) but with most modern niceties except air conditioning which we did not need in May. Very relaxing accommodations in a country setting. Staff was great. Location just 6 miles from Ulm center. Great Wi-Fi, water pressure, room and bath size with comfortable beds.

Stopover on the way to Italy. Friendly welcome and a free beer. Room rustic clean adequate. Meal over the road typical filling German fare. Good breakfast then on our way. Would use again for same purpose

Great location for a weekend trip to Ulm
Hotel staff were very accommodating and friendly. A welcome drink, an outdoor fire pit and a sauna/new weight room were some of the unexpected extras. Great breakfast too.

A very friendly welcome on arrival the room was excellent as was the breakfast. The hotel did not do evening meals so we dined in a greek restaurant which was very good the restaurant was one of only three on the village. The village is very quite and is a 10 minute bus ride into Ulm

Small but friendly
This hotel lies just south of the cities of Ulm and Neu Ulm, in a neighborhood called Gogglingen. You might require a car if you are staying here, although we saw public buses during commute hours. Parking is free. This is a small operation in a renovated farmhouse/barn complex. The decor is new but in a country style and very tasteful. Unfortunately, the rooms are not air conditioned, but the building is well insulated and the windows open (with screens). We were traveling with one child and were given a room with two twins pushed together (standard German sleeping arrangement for couples) and an additional full bed, which was much better than the sofa beds our son usually is stuck with. Breakfast is free for guests. It is a buffet with many choices of cold items, including pastries, deli meats, yogurt and cereals, fruit, and cheeses. Scrambled eggs (real), bacon (crisp) and breakfast sausage are also provided, along with full coffee service. The front desk is NOT open 24 hours. Check in is after two, but by 6pm on the day we arrived, the desk was already unmanned. If you arrive after hours, you can ring a bell to be admitted. At least one desk attendant speaks English. He was specifically sent to greet us, so if you don't speak German, consider asking for him. Overall, this was a comfortable place to stay, and the staff were quite friendly. Hoatel rooms can be hard to find in this area; we will certainly consider staying here in the future.

Authentic and welcoming for a stay in Germany
Returned to the Zehntstadl because I had a great stay in May 2015, and the hotel is convenient to my company's German headquarters. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is excellent, with friendly service. This is a quiet location, with easy parking, and many interesting walks through the surrounding farmlands. Highly recommended!

Staff is very friendly. They accommodated us for a late night check-in. Room was on the top floor and was a little hot even with the windows open. Staff made us feel welcome though and breakfast was decent too.

Perfect business trip accomodations
Enjoyed this small hotel in a picturesque location. Lovely breakfast buffet. Staff was friendly and exceedingly helpful - my luggage was lost by the airline and the hotel staff took care of getting it delivered and even brought it up to my room while I was at work. Easy walking distance to the Danube River where there are nice trails along the river and through farmland. Look for the stork nest on the nearby fire station.

I arrived rather late after a very slow drive up the autobahn from Munich International (not the usual drive, but apparently it was the start of the school half-term holidays and there are some roadworks - the trip back the next day was much quicker!). I was met with a friendly welcome smile (and complimentary drink) and settled into my room right away. I just caught the last light on the dark, deep, slow and moody Donau which is a short walk away. There is no food at the hotel (apart from the very acceptable and included breakfast), but the receptionist told me of a couple of restaurants within a very short distance (the typical German one being just across the street). Then to bed. There were two free bottles of water and a mini-bar with chocolate and beer (both very good value). There didn't seem to be any hot drink facilities in the room (unless I missed them - and I did look hard!). There are church bells close by which seem to ring out all night - though I didn't check every hour, so if you're a light sleeper, the mini-bar beer might be a good idea! The room I was in is quite close to the road, so with the window open it can be a bit noisy, especially at this time of year as a lot of farm machinery passes by from before dawn. The bathroom was beautiful and pracrtical - a really nice shower, though in my room, no bath. Breakfast was perefect, with a small amount of hot food and typically European cold stuff as well.

Easy access to Ulm
We had 2 nights at this hotel so that we could visit the famous cathedral and other places of interest in Ulm. The hotel staff were excellent and most helpful. Rooms were of a good size and immaculately clean. Only breakfast is offered and although there is outside seating for a late afternoon drink there is just a mini bar facility.. There is a good German restaurant opposite the hotel and a pizzeria within walking distance located on the banks of the Danube next to a fuel station. We would stay here again if we were in the area.

Great place to stay as base to explore nearby Ulm
The room, breakfast and hotel was really good, receptionist was v. helpful and he spoke perfect English. Being outside Ulm, I thought it was therefore better value than a city hotel and, as it is near a bus stop with a half hourly service, I saw it as great value in a good location. There is a really good restaurant and beer garden opposite which we enjoyed. The resataurant has an historic link as Napoleon stopped there during the 1805 battle of Ulm, an added bonus for history buffs like me!
