Pool out of order

I booked this hotel specifically for the indoor pool. I was traveling with 4 children. I thought they'd swim and sleep. The pool was out of order, and apparently it had been that way for a while. The thermostat wasn't very responsive, but the air conditioner did work. Everything else was fine.

Rattlesnake Roundup Weekend

Hotel was average. Like the walk in shower vs a tub. The water tasted terrible and thus so did the coffee. There could have been a few more items on the breakfast bar. The bed was hard. The worst part was we could hear the person next door snoring! Pricing was pretty high for this event weekend.

Mysterious credit card charges

Based on Hotels.com's high user rating, we booked this hotel for one night on 12/26 while passing through Sweetwater. Everything was great, the breakfast could have been better, but the big surprise is the billing. I found some extra charges from this hotel a few days after I've checked out. There was a $10 incidental charge that was added on 12/27, and another $38.67 manually charged on 12/28. Calling the hotel and was told to wait until Monday to talk to the manager. Buyers beware. This hotel will add mysterious charges to your credit card. Check your credit card statement carefully after you've stayed here.
