From the moment we walked through the front door, we could tell we were going to have a wonderful stay, from the grand stairway, lobby bar, buffet restaurant and dining room, to our room. We arrived early on a flight from Sicily and asked if we could check our bags. Instead, they found a room for us and we were in our room before 10 AM. We need taxi service to various places we wanted to visit on the island and all was taken care of with a request at the conciere desk. We plan to return next year. Malta is wonderful and the Excelsior enhanced our stay appreciably.
