Comfort inn Swift Current

Pros: It was a $80.00 a night hotel if that
Cons: Lower the rate or total redo
Location: The location was good if you came off the highway
Old, noisy and dated. Room was cold and to heat it up, you had to listen to the loud heater all night. Breakfast was offered 6:30 till 9:30 but if your not there 20 minutes before close, they do not restock eggs or bacon-sausage for you and want to leave right at 9:30. the only thing modern in our room was the shower curtain. The pictures on line were from some other hotel because as hard as we looked, couldn't see match to any in that hotel.

Nice overnight stay

Nothing fancy. If you just need to stay for a night then this is a good and clean hotel. It’s not updated but what I just need is a clean hotel to stay in. I liked that i was able to use their business area to print. They have a fitness facility also that you can use however I wasn’t able to bring my rubber shoes so didn’t try. Room smells clean and it has a decent size tv. If I have one comment, the room is kinda dark but I’m ok with it not a deal breaker. Another thing that I can comment is their free breakfast, not a fan of continental all carbs and I’m on a Keto diet so It was kinda hard to choose what to eat for breakfast. I just drank coffee and egg. No fruits. i don’t eat bread, oatmeal and yogurt with sugar. I eat mostly meat and there’s no hotdog or sausage. The hotel is near Tim Hortons so I just went there and went with their sausage breakfast wrap. I think they could be better with their $104 price tag.

From your comments, I assume you stayed in one of the few rooms that have yet to be renovated (hoping to complete renos in next few months). I apologize that you did not feel there was enough light in the room. I also note that you did not notice the three-layer display of fruits. Friendly and welcoming.

Pros: Staff were number 1. Lovely and friendly.
Cons: Oatmeal - not packages - with toppings.
Excellent staff. Friendly from the moment you walk in the door until you check out. It is an older hotel renovated. The hallway had a lingering smell of cigarette smoke, which was not pleasant. But thankfully that did not carry into the room itself. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The toilet and shower share a very small space, which I could see as problematic at times. The sink and vanity are separate from the toilet and shower which is not always the best. Certainly you are able to see wear and tear of an older hotel made to look newer. The breakfast room is spacious and laid out nicely. Basic breakfast. Being an oatmeal eater, I always appreciate oatmeal other than the little packages and nice toppings (fresh fruit, raisins, cranberries, nuts). But they had just the packages of oatmeal with no toppings.

Ok for a few nights

room was roomy and clean. bed was alright but heavy duvet for the heat was too much. I am sure it's great in the winter. AC didn't cool the whole room. .only section by the window.

This will eliminate the heavy feeling of our current duvets. I apologize that your room remained too warm for you. Horrible

The room was old and had a disgusting smell to it. The air conditioning did not work properly and so was hot all night. The site classes it as a hotel, but truth be told it is more like a motel and definitely not worth the money spent. The service itself was also not great, the front desk attendant was not friendly at all. I will never go there again and for the money spent, will book at the Holiday Inn from now on, at least I know its clean, inviting, and the service is normally excellent.

Your comments have been noted. 50 of our 65 rooms have been fully renovated - new furniture, new carpet tile, fresh paint, new bedding. We are in the process of renovating the remaining rooms. Room was clean but the breakfast sucks! Nothing to do for the kids, the front desk employee when we check out was rude!

Unfortunately we do not have entertainment for children during their stay at our hotel. Our breakfast is continental and offers hot waffles with strawberries & whipped cream, hard boiled eggs, 3 varieties of fresh fruit, a variety of pastries (freshly baked on site), homemade banana bread, a variety of bagels & muffins, bread, 4 kinds of cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, 2 types of juice, gluten free cereal, milk, coffee, herbal tea and hot chocolate. These items are offered every morning seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. I apologize if your check in was not as smooth as you expected and we will deal with that directly.
