Disaster Hotel

Pros: nothing
Small room, water once freezenig or extremely hot with even touching the taps, uncomfortable beds, small pillows, confusing access.

Fantastic budget hotel.

Posted May 7, 2017
Pros: Staff
Cons: decor in the rooms
Location: The Factory outlet shopping village is very close. Also only 30 mins form Badmington horse trails.
We had a lovely overnight stay at this hotel. Great price only £45 for the night. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the breakfast was excellent value and very good. Wifi was availbale at only £3. It is very close to the Swindon Shopping village as well.

Great value welcoming staff nice bar area

Posted May 5, 2017
Pros: online
Cons: include wifi although to be fair it was only £3.00
For a budget hotel the experience was good. Rooms are well designed and funky green. They have all that you need for a short stay. Rooms clean and beds comfortable. Although room compact it was ok. Free parking. Bar food and bar an added bonus.

Nice enough, no frills, but Fantastic Staff.

Posted May 3, 2017
Pros: The Staff! Professional, friendly and act as if nothing is too much trouble. 5 star service for 3 star price.
Cons: Take down the notice saying "only food and drink purchased here are allowed to be consumed on these premises". I use bottled water in my tea!
Location: It's kind of in the middle of nowhere, too far to walk (safely, it's all dual carriageways) but near enough for a cheap taxi journey.
Got a cheap price on the room, which was quite basic but functional. Halls, stairwell, Bar, lobby etc were all rather stylish. Booked a week as I was on a course, so didn't need much, But the main thing I remember and have to mention is the staff. Fantastic, friendly staff members that always seemed to have a genuine smile on their faces. The guy serving at the bar most nights was called Jorge and was an absolute star! So basically went up there to study, didn't expect much, but was extremely pleasantly surprised by the warm welcoming staff that made my week away from home a much nicer experience than ever expected. Thank you to everyone at Campanile Swindon.

Cheap and cheerful in Swindon

Posted May 2, 2017
Pleasant hotel, with more hotel like facilities - bar, restaurant, staff etc - than say a Travelodge. Room simple but comfortable. Not that large but acceptable for an overnight. And very cheap at £38. Free parking in a quiet area behind an Audi dealership.

Basic hotel that allows dogs

Posted May 2, 2017
Katrina and all the staff were wonderful and very helpfull. This is a basic hotel that offers value for money and allows dogs at a reasonable price. Take extra pillows. Only one per person.
