Reasonably convenient to Redfern Station. The unit floors were not very clean. The linens and kitchen were clean. The furniture and rugs were starting to look shabby. The a/c froze during the night and woke us with a great grinding noise and spit out ice. There was no coffee pot but the kind staff found one for our use.

The property management were nice and friendly. The room we had was extremely dirty. You could tell that surface cleaning was done - clean towels, new supplies. But, actual cleaning had not been done in an extremely long time. Needed a light bulb in the bathroom - waited three days for an electrician to replace - fell out that evening! Not sure why an electrician was needed, but we were able to put bulb back in once we had a working one. Property has the potential to be nice, if it were maintained properly.

A bit small. The air condition is very old and not cold enough when the weather is hot. More washing powder and rubbish bags will be good. The oven seems not functioning. The cooking stove is old.

Not sure if the staff were just too busy but the benches in our room hadnt been cleaned, the blanket in between the sheets had yellows and blood stains on it and then we found someone elses clothes hanging in the wardrobe so room hadnt been touched , was as if they pulled sheets up and added bathroom amenities

Easy stay but no workers
We booked for the use of pool and spa For a birthday get away. No receptionist when arrived called a phone number on the glass a man came down explain about the tap key getting in and out but didnt include about use of the amenities or phone numbers for room service and any other needs. Our room was nice. Unfortunately short of towels 2 towels for 3 guest was a bit ridiculous but no one at reception when i went back down and no phone number this time. Went to use the pool, was not heated not was the spa and again couldn’t find any staff to turn on. I tried the chat on this hotel app for service from motel but no one has replied. No information in room for local things and food places in the area. Sofa bad couch uncomfortable and cushion falling apart.

Dear Rachael,Thank you for your constructive review.To offer a competitive price we are not open 24/24.When the reception is unattended (to assist a guest or clean a room) the landline is diverted to our mobile phone.Since the Covid we removed the compendium and all the information in regards to the hotel and the area are on the QR code near the T.V.There is a cabinet at the reception for extra towels, coffee...I'm sorry if you did not enjoy the sofa. Potential to be a sought after accomodation.
The staff were pleasant , helpful and very accommodating without needing any prompting . The units need refreshing / updating which will make them more marketable and appear clean . There is a few cockroaches around , which need a bit more diligence in cleanliness please. Thank you overall , a good distance from the city , reasonable rate in comparison to other accommodation near the harbour/ICC on the weekend I was there .Eating places and mall / Woolworths 5-7 min walk .

Older property, but spacious rooms and I really like the area. Only problem is that most of the air conditioners in the rooms don't work. I've stayed here many times, and rarely do you get a room where the AC is functional. You'll cook in summer and freeze in winter here.

The staff are incredibly nice and helpful - really make the place. The location is fantastic and the size of the apartment was perfect for a week. Could cook and work from the desk. The units are very tired and definitely need some care but would not hesitate to stay here again if I needed a serviced apartment.

While the property was clean the lamp in the bedroom was broken, there was no running hot water in the bathroom sink and the lounge room/kitchen air conditioner needed urgent repair. When I reported the air conditioner I was told the job was logged. When I followed up the next day I was told there should be no air conditioning in the lounge room/kitchen, contrary to information about the property provided on Wotif. No fly screen doors were installed on the balcony, which made it difficult to leave the doors open for natural air flow.

Nesuto staff were super helpful and friendly. The apartment waslight and airy and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The bed is big and comfortable. I didn't use the well equipped gym but managed a swim in the rooftop pool which was jut the right temperature. I will definately stay here again.

Had such a terrible time here i left 2 weeks early. So noisy at night from neighbouring apartments. Although signs say no noise after 10pm there are no staff to police this. Sounded like apartment above was doing renovations late into the night. Paper thin walls. Staff onsite were amazing, the property itself was awful and i would not recommend

Whilst they were able to accomodate an early check in, the room was in horrible condition. It was dirty and greasy, with stains on the bedding and couch. There we are lot of cockroaches - all through the bathroom and kitchen. I ended up cancelling my booking and going somewhere else.

Dear Brendan, We are sorry to hear the rooms weren't up to the standard you've come to expect from us. We did our best to welcome you: Indeed, we gave you an early check in at 9h00 am. (In theory, the check in time is 2h00 pm) Also, we organized a pest control immediately after your complaint. In Sydney during May/June, due to the weather the cockroaches trying to go in each room. At Nesuto Chippendale, there is a pest control once a month for the common area: Hallways, parking, lifts, fire stairs. We also organize a pest control every six months for each apartment. Just letting you know, we refunded the rest of your stay (a non-refundable booking) You stayed in the apartment 123, with new carpet (installed in February 2022) and a new TV. You insisted on the condition of the room: not a word on the “early check-in” and on the fact that we refund a non-refundable booking… Thanks for taking the time to give your feedback. Pack shampoo, spa isn't heated anymore.
I like this place. Cheap and close to the city. I have chosen it before because of the rooftop pool and spa but they no longer heat the spa. I am sure there was shampoo and conditioner before I guess they aren't supplying it anymore due to COVID so pack your own. They might have it on request but I didn't ask.

Good option for long-stay in expensive Sydney
Good apartment/hotel to stay if you plan to have an extended visit/stay in Sydney. Well located near transit/subway transportation, shops, and restaurants. Very quiet area and building. Extremely nice and accommodating staff. We appreciated the early check-in courtesy after a long 8-hour flight. Spacious room in the one bedroom suite with handy kitchen, bathroom and washer and dryer. The unit we were in is quite dated all over and is in serious need of upgrades (especially for the nightly rate charged). Good satellite TV. Adequate pool and gym on the roof. Too bad that the BBQs on the roof have been removed. This fact should be edited on the websites. Adding a floor fan in the unit would be a plus since there is no AC in the bedroom portion. Recommended for those planning an extended stay in Sydney.

great stay right in between Central and Redfern transit stations... the grocery store was just a few minutes walk and felt safe in all times of the day. Highly recommend!
