Close to Westmaed Hospital

Cons: At this price you expect Microwave & Toaster
Location: Really nothing except hospitals, no shops and few places to eat.
Ideal if you need to be near the Westmead hospitals.

Dear Tony, Thank you for your feedback. We can place a toaster in the rooms at no charge, and a microwave for just a small fee. As you said, Westmead is the ideal location for Westmead Hospital and also The Childrens' Hospital, Westmead Private and the Skin & Cancer Clinic. There are a number of restaurants in Westmead including: Subway, Oporto, Japanese, Thai, Chinese, Indian, Korean and a large eatery inside the Westmead Hospital. We also have our own Cafe onsite called AJ's Cafe, open 5.30pm - 9.00pm for room service Monday-Friday and/or dine-in Monday-Thursday. Comfortable beds & great location

Pros: Location
Cons: A lift for the 3 flights of stairs. Extra credit card charge should be mentioned.
Location: Hospital across road.Food at hospital terrible,discovered great coffee & food at Michelle's across road from station.Thai restaurant-great.transport👌
Location across the road from Westmead hospital was very important as we had travelled from out of state (my sister) & I had come on bus from far south coast. Room was comfortable & beds very comfortable (room was a bit small especially with a suitcase each to fit in) It was a bit of a distance up & down 3 flights of stairs (especially with our bags) but we managed. We feel it is still quite expensive for relatives to stay there when visiting loved ones. Also when we checked out an extra charge was added to bill for credit card fee! That was never mentioned at anytime-either during Booking process or checking out!

We understand the difficulty in commuting up and down the stairs to the top floor, and are very excited that our lift, which is currently being installed, should be ready by the end of July/early August. In the mean time, our friendly staff are always happy to assist with carrying luggage and/or changing to a lower floor if there is availability. Our 1% Credit Card surcharge is clearly displayed in Reception, however we do apologise that this was not mentioned to you at any stage of your booking, as it should have been. Horrible

Renovations were taking place. Fair enough. But please don't charge full price and warn people first. I couldn't get to sleep due to constantly banging outside my window. I went to open my window and a workman was literally at eye level with me on scaffolding banging into the wall. Horrible experience.

Value and convenience.

Close to Westmead Medical Precinct. Very high standard of cleanliness, staff obliging and helpful and parking on site. We had dinner in the Café, tasty and convenient, although there are other options nearby if needed. We will be returning!

Good hotel for business trip but way overpriced

Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: lower price!!! Bath in each room for that price plus continental breakfast. Cafe/Restaurant should be open on weekends.
Location: Not many other restaurants. Westmead is a medical clinics suburb. Next time i'll stay in parramatta or even city as only 25min train trip away
I had to go to Westmead for a course at the Westmead Children's hospital and needed to be close by. This was the only hotel in Westmead. I believe that the rooms are way overpriced and i think that's just because families and business people have to stay close to hospital and the hotel can easily raise the cost of the room. At least make sure that for this price $185 per night it should include a bath!!! and continental breakfast! Staff was really friendly, Room was nice and clean - all good with that. The restaurant should be open on weekend at least for room service. I struggled to find "decent" food in Westmead and had to travel to Parramatta for that matter.

Great Hotel

Location: Close to transport, shops, parks, hospital.
We only stayed the one night but we found the staff to be very polite and helpful, the room was spotless, the beds were comfortable. Only a short walk for public transport. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Nice hotel close to hospital and train
