Good value and friendly staff

Pros: Location and value
Cons: It is an older facility and is due for some work. The bathrooms are very small and basic. There was nothing that didn't work or was an issue.
As a place to stay in relative downtown Sydney it was very good value. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. If you are wanting a luxury hotel in Sydney, likely not the one for you, but if you are wanting a decent place to stay close to the heart of things, this is a good option.

This guesthouse is in a nice street in Potts Point and well located. It is actually closing for 12 months for a major refurbishment. The staff are friendly and most helpful.

Pros: Like ambitious and location.

Hotel was in the Kings Cross area. Also near Potts Point. Two trendy areas. Large variety of great restaurants. In walking distance of most areas of Sydney.

Pros: Location, staff directions were very clear, checkin after hours was a breeze, has a friendly atmosphere. And very affordable!
Cons: It was a little tricky to find a temporary park before checking in and getting a key for the carpark. However, it only took 2 loops of the block.
Location: A walking trip to the rocks/southern side of Harbour bridge was ~90 minutes, at a slow gentle pace. Perfect way to start the day!
I loved this beautiful little hotel. It has a really charming feel, friendly staff and it seems to have a personality that most hotels lack. It doesn't fit the cookie-cutter mould. I'm already planning a trip back to sydney so I can stay in this place longer!

Cons: our room was so small , it should never have been rented
Location: very close to subway and lots of good restaurants
we have stayed many times and have always had a very nice stay, great staff , nice breakfast , etc. this time everything was very good except for the room - very small , no towel racks at sink, poor lighting, no room for luggage.

Pros: The hotel is very nice, has a nice style to it and a safe feel!
Cons: The Internet connection was a bit weak in my room, it only worked when my iPad was in a certain place.
Location: Location is right by Kings Cross, train station is about 200meters up the street, a very nice place for breakfast is a little place named Glider
I've had a nice stay, the staff were always helpful and very friendly. After my checkout (1030AM) I was granted to leave my suitcase in their facilities until my flight which was only at 8PM that day. An airport shuttle can also be booked from the hotel for 22$ as well as day tours to Blue Mountain. Breakfast was included, however there are lots of little restaurants along the street and one street over. It's a 15-20 min walk to the botanical gardens and the harbor and about a 10-15$ cab ride for those who don't wish to walk. Glider is very nice for a healthy breakfast, which is a 2 minute walk up the street (their smoothies are amazing! - went back everyday for one) Ms Gs is a very nice restaurant/bar which is also a short walk from the hotel.
