100% quality for a great price.

I stayed at the Ashfield Manor for a night and certainly wasn't expecting the quality that it was. For the price I paid it was everything that we needed. Would recommend.

Pros: Staff lovely. Free breakfast. TV. Air conditioning and fan.
Cons: Parking and fumigation.
The parking situation needs to be improved. I had to park on busy Liverpool Road as there is parking for only three cars. It was nice to have air conditioning and fan. Sheets felt nice. Good shower head. Room clean but baby cockroaches in bathroom and shower screen rusting. Staff were excellent.

Thank you for your review. Unfortunately it is difficult to identify the room you reserved if we don't know your name. Nevertheless, parking will continue to be an issue for us, even though we advertise parking is limited, and advise the same on all correspondence with our prospective guests. We have noted your comments re the unwanted visitors in the bathroom, but with the heat, they like us all, are looking for a cool place to rest.! I have passed your review on to our maintenance team for their attention.

Good budget motel close to Sydney CBD

Good choice for those interested in value. 15 minute walk to Ashfield train station. Plenty of inexpensive Asian restaurants in area. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Wireless internet was $10.00 per day but it seems standard in Australia.

It's was okay.. I think I was bit expensive for its services. It's say breakfast included but there was only breads and some cereals. And had to do our own dishes, I paid more than $100 dollars.. I don't think it was worth it. But the room was good, was clean and front desk lady was nice too

What a shame you posted anonymously, we would have liked to have addressed your concerns personally. I am pleased that you found the room to be clean and comfortable, and that our reception staff were welcoming. As for the complimentary breakfast, we supply approximately 7 different bread and cereal types for our guests to choose from, and we supply tea & coffee 24/7 in the dining room, all free of charge, we think that washing up your own dishes is a small request to ask. We believe that $100 per night including free breakfast is indeed value for money for an overnight stay in Sydney.

Great Location Great Service

Rob the Manager provided great service and was available all the time to look after our requests, would highly recommend the Manor as a great place to stay, very happy with everything

A pleasure.........Again

This is the second time I've stayed at Ashfield Manor. It was very clean, comfortable and exactly what I expected. I arrived quite late and the after hours check in procedure was simple and seem less. I didn't personally interact with the staff, due to late arrival and early departure, however all dealings with these guys via email was consistent and professional. I will definitely stay again, and would highly recommend Ashfield Manor.

A very pleasant place to stay at modest cost

Pros: Cost, location, cleanliness, neat tidy, well maintained
Cons: Breakfast
Location: A short walk to Ashfield Railway Station gives access to the whole Sydney suburban rail network. Ashfield shopping centre 5 mins down the road
Ashfield Manor provides a save, clean, pleasant place to stay in a very convenient location in a very expensive city.

clean and green...

i arrived late at night due to road closures and bush fires...but they were very helpful with explaining the night key pick up...and where to park so late at night. when i walked in the place was clean, welcoming and smelt great...makes a big difference...no old musty smell...nor any "bleach" cleaning smell. the room was clean and comfortable...not very large but very satisfactory. a lovely ambiance, with tasteful art work on the walls and greenery in the courtyard. cosy and nice. thankyou.

Just what I hoped for

Location: I walked to Summer Hill for dinner. I don't know the area, but i felt safe and it only took about 5 minutes. There were many places to choose from.
I needed a simply, clean and well appointed room. This is exactly what I got. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the ensuite was spot on. It was exactly what I wanted at late notice. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again, and I am sure I will. To make my stay even better, I managed to park my car in one of only 3 spaces on the property after returning from dinner at Summer Hill.
