Great location and close to public transport.

Posted Jul 22, 2016
Pros: Location location location
Cons: We were lucky to get parking near by but it would have been a nightmare if we were not lucky enough to find parking.
Location: Toxteth Pub, Timbah Wine bar, Lots of little coffee shops - easy access to the city.
We were only there for one night as a last minute stop in Sydney - it was close to some nice places to eat and drink really close by. The room was small but clean and simple. Great value for money and no issues.

Very convenient for us

Posted Jun 19, 2016
Pros: Already covered
Cons: The breakfast pack did not appeal, especially to me who had to eat breakfast before 6.00am on the operation day. Coco Pops isn't a Senior's1st choice!
Location: Already covered - especially the supermarket across the road to supply a better choice for that early morning breakfast!
As we'd driven from Canberra for surgery for myself at the Chris O'Brien Lifehouse (near RPA) this hotel was conveniently located. We needed somewhere safe to leave our car parked - that was possible undercover. We needed the hotel to be close enough to the hospital for my husband to be able to walk to and from it - this was possible. There were restaurants and shops across the road to meet his need for food, etc. It was indeed a comfortable "haven" for me upon discharge from hospital for a day and night before we were ready to face the drive back to Canberra.

Quiet location close to the City

Posted Jun 14, 2016 on Wotif
Pros: Quiet, close to city by frequent bus services.
Cons: Needs a face height sign of some type maybe just saying Best Western Haven Glebe across the front entrance door glass. It's a hazard.
Location: Lots of cafes and restaurants along Glebe Point Road.
Much better with the recent renovations including provision of a lift. Decor and furniture is completely new and ...... the electronic door locks work faultlessly every time. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I arrived early however the staff found an already cleaned room which i could use immediately. Breakfast was great ..... had an omelette with toast ..... hot, very nice tasting, generous portions and served on time. The place was very quiet overall though the recorded voice in the lift indicating door open, door close and which floor was a bit annoying. Having buses heading towards the city every few minutes throughout the day virtually just across the road is one of the key beneficial features of this hotel.

Ganz gut mit Mängel

Posted Apr 16, 2016 on Hotels

Good hotel, distant location. Keep track of the bus line, as the tram stops before midnight. Area opens early which was good for me.

整體不錯

交通很方便!離市區不遠!床很舒適!但但隔音效果不是很好!因為我們剛好住在電梯出入口旁!所以每當有房客出入,聲音都會很大
