We have stayed here a few times. We love the location. It’s clean and inexpensive. This time we had the breakfast for $15 a head.

Good location and sensible pricing. Reception staff very helpful. Breakfast was dreadful with poor selection of fresh fruit,but canned fruit was available. The croissants were probably a week old!

Badly stained fitted carpet. Mouldy smell in the bedroom to match the black mould in the tired bathroom. Front door had a gap between the door and the frame allowing clear daylight (about 1cm at widest point). Very outdated and dingy furnishings (not like the photo). We stayed in Room 29. Other rooms may be better; this one is to be avoided. We just didn’t want to be there. Credit where it is due: the bed linens were pristine and the beds were comfortable. Check-in was very easy, and free ample parking a bonus.

Uncomfortable stay , unfriendly staff at checkout
Very very old accomidation, air con placed in such a place while room does not cool, cleanliness is a issue, however, on arrival the reception staff was very cordial and welcoming and helped us to get a microwave in our room. On the other side, in check out the staff at the reception did not bother to greet and did not even look at ! Getting out from the motel is always a issue, due to safety reason you have to get out always on the left side of the road and roam around to get towards St Leonard's.

Toilet was dirty and not cleaned and even after informing reception the cleaning staff didn't clean the toilet at all. Other than the not cleaned toilet we enjoyed our stay. Parking is provided and bus stop into city is in front of the hotel.

The location of the property was good with good access to the city and good parking for a car but the property is in need of renovation. There was mould on the shower screen door and the carpet and furniture were tired and in need of renovation.

Unfortunately no sound proofing between walls and for our 7 night stay we had severely disturbed sleep for 6 of the 7 nights due to inconsiderate guests in the adjoining room. Buffet breakfast - poor, home-brand style food and had to listen to the staff member's choice of music during meal time which was not enjoyable.

BEWARE: The room I had did not match the images listed on Expedia. The bathroom was filthy with mold and mildew on tiles, shower screen, floor grates etc. Wall tiles in bathroom had dirty splatters. The bed mattress gave us both a back ache as it was so soft you felt as if you had fallen through to the floor. It should be tossed out in the next council pick up. Many of the hotel rooms had permanent tenants so on Saturday night they were loud, playing cricket in the car park. A little scary to go outside and use the communal kitchen microwave. The morning staff did not want to know of any issues and they told me to email the manager. I think he was the manager, however did not want to help. I ended up changing hotels for my second nights stay in the area. Absolutely disgusting. Go to the Hotel URBAN instead.

The Inn was walking distance to the Royal North Shore Hospital. Parking was good and the room was excellent. A microwave was provided on request. The bathroom appears to have been recently upgraded and was well appointed including a night light built into the mirror.

Stayed here for one night with our 2 kids whilst playing tourist in Sydney for the weekend. The room was old, but quaint and spotlessly clean, the beds were comfy and it was great to have sliding doors to separate the sleeping areas - partially or fully and two TV sets too. Great value and friendly service. Recommend for a cost-effective stay for a family of four.

A great basic motel for a one night stopover. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful. Beds are big and comfortable. Room is very clean and although not overly spacious there is enough room for a family of four to relax before/after a day out in the city. Conveniently across the road is a bus stop into city, which makes this location close enough to the city without actually being in the city. We stayed here for Vivid and the trip into Circular Quay and back was super easy. The room we stayed in, room 28, is nice and quiet at night which is also a huge bonus.

Overall, I’ll give 4.5/10 given the price tag. The location of the site entrance is in between the traffic lights, by the street, there’s a lot of noise starting from 8am. Most importantly, the checkout time is 10:30, we have housekeeper knocking door whiteout telling who they’re and waking you up at 8:45 and using master key trying to get in??? I’m so glad I have the room chain on. This is terrible!!!! Besides, A random car parked on the entry lane blocking the driveway, we had to use the exit land to entry. We also found cigarettes on the carpet, used shower cap behind door.
