Convenient & close to CityPosted Sep 21, 2015
Pros: Comfy bed!!! Most important thing as I was running a marathon the next day!!
Cons: option of being able to have a bath
Location: Lance cove 5 min walk to shops and restaurants. Views to city
Easy walk to Lane Cove for dinner. Close to city, comfortable and great views. Big bath towels, comfy bed, clean and tidy. Doesn't look a million dollars from the outside but inside is the same as any hotel on Hyde park :) Only much much cheaper! Will definitely stay again. Thanks

Quiet friendly hotelPosted Jul 5, 2015 on Lastminute
Room was more than adequate. Well presented. The restaurant was good although a little dated. Staff very friendly. Cooked breakfast was great. Location good for our purposes. Very little traffic noise. Bed very comfy.

very noisy from the pacfic highwayPosted Jun 29, 2015 on Wotif
Cons: in the bathroom they had just a shower curtain and when you used the shower it drenched the floor mat so when you finished you stand on a wet mat.
Location: handy to the city
when they scanned our credit card which was fine as it was just incase we used the mini bar or wfy they didnt tell us that they would debit the account of $50.00 and then we would have to wait for it to drop off the pending transaction of our credit card. Nothing was used and we now are out of pocket of $50.00 until it drops off or we have to make a claim against it. it can take up to 21 days for the transaction to drop off the account.

Perfect location for our needs that night. Room was really a bit too small for 3 adults but as only staying one night was not a problem for us. Clean and tidy with all basic amenities.

Aging hotel but good location and fully functional. Good points - nice air con system with quiet running mode, good parking and quiet despite being right on the pac highway. Bad points - no soap or shower gel in any of the dispensers, water pressure in shower woeful. Was best price of local hotels but can get 4+ stars in the CBD for same price so will take a longer journey next time.

Affordable Accommodation Lane CovePosted Jun 17, 2015 on Hotels
We were looking for something at a reasonable price, handy location to Chatswood, close by public transport into town and with free parking. Despite being close to Pacific Highway there was no traffic noise of note. An easy walk to Lane Cove Village and shops. Some research into access is needed if driving.

Good 'Vivid' Accomo - quick trip into CBD - VividPosted Jun 9, 2015 on Lastminute
Pros: Quick trip into city and Vivid, North side location to get out of morning Sydney Peak Hour heading North up M1. Good price for a quick one night stay.
Location: Vivid. Easy to get in/out of Sydney as Express Bus Station straight into city w/i 9 mins on bus.
We stayed at the hotel whist visiting 'Vivid' in the city on a weeknight and its easy to get out of Sydney heading North to the Central Coast on a peak hour morning. The hotel itself is clean tidy with crisp sheets etc. All fine for a quick one night stop over. Did not eat there for any meals. The staff were good directing us to a local fast 9min Express Bus into the city leaving a short 5min walk from the hotel - very useful. Travel back at midnight was pretty easy too once we had sussed out the bus station location, bus times etc in the CBD.

DisappointingPosted Jun 4, 2015 on Wotif
Cons: The cost to be more reflective of the standard.
Location: Exit and entry difficult to find. Not convenient to access or exit other than when travelling north along Pacific Hwy.
More run down than expected for the price. Not at all easy or convenient to enter Hotel from northerly direction or to exit towards the city.

Adequate for One NightPosted May 27, 2015 on Wotif
Pros: Location good - quieter than I expected
Cons: Modernise the bathroom
Adequate for one night's stay. Value was okay. The bathroom in my suite needed modernisation and the toilet was super-cramped (no leg room) - you wouldn't want to be any taller than 6 foot...
