No wi fi in a wi fi room

Posted Apr 3, 2017
Pros: It was located close to where I needed to be.
Cons: Everything. The hotel should provide wi fi as of right- every coffee shop today does it for free.
Very dated room but clean and functional, paid extra for wi fi and breakfast. Wi fi in the room was available only one evening out of five and the connection was not great. Breakfast was most unappetising and served on the tables with no table cloths. Only had breakfast once. A breakfast room with most amazing views through extremely dirty windows. Not value for money.

Room of Pee

Posted Mar 10, 2017
The staff were nice but when I walked into the room all I could smell was urine. I went out and left the window open. When I came back in the evening it still smelled like urine

well positioned hotel

Posted Mar 8, 2017
Pros: Breakfast
Cons: The speed of the lifts
This is an older building that is well looked after, however the lifts are small and slow. Their breakfast served on the 5th floor dinningroom is well cooked and plentiful..The rooms were clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. The Hotel is well positioned to get onto the Red route sightseeing bus at the Kings cross South stop wnich is only a block away. For people traveling on a budget but not wanting a back packers style of accomodation I would recomend it to them, overall a pleasant and enjoyable experience

Old, musty and not good for business

Posted Mar 4, 2017
This place needs a few million bucks of reverb. It currently setup as some sort of bohemian accommodation in Sydney. It isn't. What it is is old. You can put lipstick on a pig....its still a pig.

Good location to food, drinks, and the red light.

Walked to the Harbour Bridge, Sydney Opera House, Botanic Gardens, and Contemporary Art Centre from the Hotel. Bus stops in front of Hotel and the train(subway) is an easy walk.

Does what it says on the tin

Basic and straight forward but my room was dingy and smelly. Wouldn't stay again.
