The Good: Location was excellent. Near Chinatown and it’s fabulous food. Within walking distance of the Capitol Theatre (our reason for being in time). Walking distance to all major areas in the city.
I liked the old charm and character of the hotel.
Room is very tiny, but it seemed clean, had a working shower and free decent wifi.
The Bad: thin walls. Can hear everything from other rooms and I mean everything.
Underground parking. Limited spaces, around 12. Very small and tight parking. If you have issues with spatial awareness and/or generally aren’t a good partner then it can be stressful. Need to pre-book. I did.
Spot reserved for me already taken. Was given another spot. Then asked to move to another. Took almost hour to check-in due to parking.
The sort of good: Staff member very nice. Said I could check out at 11:30 next day instead of 10:00 for parking trouble. Said would note in computer.
Unfortunately, not noted and there was minor issue next day due to late checkout. So, nice staff but mistake with parking and not noting late checkout not great.
Would I stay here again? I don’t know. Maybe, but I usually need parking, and there are so many other options and AirBnBs, that it’s unlikely I’d stay again.
