Hotel location and size is good.

Hotel location is good. The rooms are big and beds are comfortable. The breakfast is okay for $15. Bathroom was clean though after bath the soap bubbles were coming out of the gutters. The hotel staff was not welcoming, i met 2 front desk staff and both were quite cold.

Good location, great value

Pros: Value and quality or rooms
Cons: Only negative point - Bruschetta in restaurant was very poor. Rest of meal was ok
Location: No nearby activities. 15 min walk to train station to get into city
Staff very friendly and welcoming. Rooms modern and well appointed.

A Good Stay

For us it was quite a surprise. Pleasant staff on arrival and offering assistance should anything be not up to our requirements. For us the location was perfect as we had appointments on the lower north shore. The room was quiet and the bathroom clean. I like to judge the bathroom by the shower head and towels, both were very good.The breakfast facilities were very good with a continental or full breakfast available. The coffee was extremely good. We would definitely stay at Urban again for business on the north side of the harbour.

Convenient for our purpose

Pros: Clean and comfortable
Location: convenient for our purposes and activities were not of importance to us at that time
I found that the requirement to pay $100 at check-in was not mentioned when booking nor that parking was an extra. I did expect to pay for dinner and breakfast of course. The so called "cheap rate" was somewhat deceptive booking through Expedia.

great hotel. Not so for the restaurant

The hotel staff and facilities were great and met all expectations of a hotel of this standard. The quality of meals at the restaurant were well below expectation and did not match the quality of the hotel. The staff were both friendly and helpful from the GM to the cleaners

Nice comfortable rooms

Pros: Very quiet in rooms
Cons: No hanging points for toiletry bags Could not find all free to air channels on TV but had foxtel.
Quick booking in and out of room. Good size room very modern and comfortable. All features required in room. Made a very good coffee in down stairs cafe.
