Hotel location and size is good.

Posted Apr 17, 2017
Hotel location is good. The rooms are big and beds are comfortable. The breakfast is okay for $15. Bathroom was clean though after bath the soap bubbles were coming out of the gutters. The hotel staff was not welcoming, i met 2 front desk staff and both were quite cold.

Good location, great value

Posted Apr 13, 2017
Pros: Value and quality or rooms
Cons: Only negative point - Bruschetta in restaurant was very poor. Rest of meal was ok
Location: No nearby activities. 15 min walk to train station to get into city
Staff very friendly and welcoming. Rooms modern and well appointed.

Convenient for our purpose

Posted Feb 18, 2017
Pros: Clean and comfortable
Location: convenient for our purposes and activities were not of importance to us at that time
I found that the requirement to pay $100 at check-in was not mentioned when booking nor that parking was an extra. I did expect to pay for dinner and breakfast of course. The so called "cheap rate" was somewhat deceptive booking through Expedia.

Good morning, The $100 at check-in is simply a bond for incidentals such as mini bar which is refunded to you on checkout. Sorry you did not notice it in your terms and conditions and I hope it did not take away from you enjoying the rest of your stay. We hope to see you again soon.

A dangerous step

Posted Jan 31, 2017
I broke my hip missing the very small step out of the hotel room into the corridor- a very dangerous step that was condemned by the paramedics

Peaceful and very close to everything.

We were surprised how close everything was being in this tranquil area. Had a look at the upstairs suites absolutely amazing with large Terrace very very nice/ bigger bathrooms.

Double glazing on windows eased highway noise

Pros: Location
Cons: Veranda area
Location: Close to hospital
Good stay near hospital for appointments. Veranda was basic but allowed access to fresh air. Great service and room was clean and comfortable.

Mismanaged expectations

Posted Dec 11, 2016 on Wotif
I thought the value for money was not there. It is an old hotel that has been refurnished. The bathrooms were tiny and the aircon loud. When I went to have breakfast they charged me for both a continental and a hot breakfast which ended up being $31.50! It was so overpriced it wasn't funny. Very disappointed and wont be going back.
