We stayed at the Pullmans for one night for a concert at the Qudos Arena. The staff were very friendly and professional, it was a quick check in, and the room was great.
We had a King Size bed, and unfortunately (like many other hotels) 2 singles were put together to make the king. I ended up being able to feel the gaps of the beds in the middle of the night as I had moved into the middle. Other than that, the bed was very comfy and the spare bamboo pillow was great.
The bathroom was very nice - very spacious, the bathroom was a larger size which was good. The shower was a bit of a let down as the head was not 4/5 worthy. It was just a plain, normal head - I was expecting at least an overhead (waterfall) shower head, but still it was a nice shower.
We did have an incident where the concierge put our bags in the wrong room. We had to call reception and talk to them about it - it was very nerve racking, but the staff were very professional and we got our bags returned to us quickly and they gave us a free drinks voucher each!
Overall, the stay was good and I would definitely stay again

This is one of the best hotel I ever stayed. The room is very spacious and full of facilities including coffee machine and free milk as you pleased.
The toilet is very big and a lot of facilities too. My family and I love this hotel very much and should we come back to Sydney again, we would check in to Intercontinental again. Well done.

We stayed 5 nights and found this a very comfortable hotel with very helpful staff. Very well serviced. Quiet at nights. Perhaps the size of the room a bit on the small size for this length of stay. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here. Short walk over to Rushcutters Bay very worthwhile for a relaxing time in the sun

We checked in and then went on a tour. The hotel graciously kept our luggage and had it in our room. The staff was super friendly. We had a room with a view of Darling Harbor and walked there for dinner. The hotel was in a great location.

Pleasantly surprised with this hotel, it actually has some character. So often hotels are bland noisy boxes that you dread staying in but this being a former Post office building has something special. We had a room on the third level that had three large round windows overlooking the Pitt st/George st intersection. The rooms them selves are very quiet, you cannot hear other guests at all, the only sounds are from the occasional noisy bus or car below but general traffic noise was hardly heard. If I was picky I would say the place is due for a freshen up, the pool area especially.
