Location: Close to the train station, shopping mall over the road, but apart from that not much else, it is a business district.
The staff were unhelpful. The noise of the trains under the hotel disturbing. No view from our room, we could have upgraded for more money. No facilities e.g. pool or gym.

Amazing view of the harbourPosted Nov 2, 2015
Pros: The bed!! The view!! Closeness to public transport Cleanliness
Cons: One extra staff member in the dining room to make sure all food is available to customers Reduce the price of breakfast to attract more customers
Location: Close to the city. close to local shops and cafes
Room was pleasant on the 12th floor. Clean and functional. Bathroom was a bit tight so if you're a larger person, navigating the room might be difficult. The bed was excellent! Very comfy. Even on the 12th floor you can hear the metro trains, but its not overly loud. Public transport is very close and for a return trip to the city/Circular Quay its $8 Vs $50 taxi. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable without being overbearing Breakfast is expensive for what you get. Also on two occasions certain items of food had run out.

Ideal LocationPosted Oct 6, 2015
Pros: Location, cleanliness, service
Cons: Better signage on Blue Street, particularly where Reception is, so guests know to wheel their luggage up the drive rather than humping it up the steps
Location: Shopping, bus and train services to CBD and North Shore very close by, Lavendar Bay, Luna Park
Train station with attached shopping mall and foodcourt is 50 metres away, and Lavender Bay with its peaceful 'secret garden' area is a short walk down the hill. Rooms are spotlessly clean, with quiet air-conditioning and opening windows. The harbour view is amazing. The rooms are well serviced and the biscuits are replaced every day. Hotel Services manual is accessed via the TV rather than a folder in the room. It would have been helpful if there was notification of this in the room rather than having to go and ask at Reception after hunting the room for it. Mini bar prices are a better deal than the bar price! My room on the 2nd floor was noisy, train noise as it was just above the railway line and thumping base music from the entertainment in the bar below on the Saturday night. Given the noise, I felt the tariff was rather high.

Good location but not the best for familiesPosted Sep 12, 2015
Pros: The location was convenient, close to the train station, a shopping mall and eateries. The view from the hotel room was lovely (i.e Harbour bridge)
Cons: If you're going to call it a family room, rooms need to be catered more towards family.
Location: Convenient if you have work in the area but if you are on holiday, It is easy to take the trains to other suburbs and the city as well,
The hotel room had a great location, convenient if you want to take the trains around Sydney. I was travelling with two other adult family members and we stayed for three nights. The hotel room was rather basic. The toilet was cramped and did not have enough facilities such as towel hooks/ racks. The room only had two chairs which made it difficult when we were trying to eat around the dining table. Staff were generally nice and friendly.

Great place to stayPosted Sep 1, 2015 on Hotels
Each room comes with a fabulous view of Sydney Harbour including the Harbour Bridge, we have stayed here a few times & keep coming back, the view still takes your breath away, and its close to, great restaurants, bars & has easy access to train's ferries & buses at your door step. The staff are very helpful & friendly too.

Pros: Restaurant and clseness to facilities
The hotel itself is very good, service excellent but nothing can prepare you for the sound of trains every few minutes . We were on Level 2 and it was dreadful , the trains roar along until about midnight and then start again about 5 am very little sleep not at all comfortable.

Accomodation and Parking Accomodation etc.Posted Aug 26, 2015 on Wotif
Pros: See 3 above Helpful Porter to load and unload car.
Cons: A choice of mattress Further noise reduction from trains
Location: convenient for city, theatres, and .Circular Quay and ferries
1. Accomodation normally excellent but on this occasion we found the mattress to be too soft. 2.Excessive noise from the rail line below. 3.Onsite parking and convenience to transport and city venues much appreciated.

Really good, but not perfect.Posted Aug 24, 2015 on Hotels
Kind of off-putting that I had to stand at the hostess desk and order breakfast before being seated. It would have been nice to enjoy a cup of coffee and relax before having to decide on breakfast.
