5 nights in Chinatown

Such lovely staff, excellent food even though hotel dinner menu limited and room service a little cold on arrival. So much going on just outside the hotel, excellent local food And a 19 min walk to darling harbour. Recommend.

Close to Chinatown n paddys market

Location: Good location
Easy to walk to broadway and China town and paddys market. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast. Smiles all around

Fantastic location close to Central Station

Stayed with my 10yr old going to see Liverpool FC play. Staff were really helpful and friendly. The manager suggested an app to view the train times for all our comings and goings. We got to check in early and it was a lovely quiet stay. Thanks

Great Hotel

Always stay here when travelling to Sydney. Great location near Chinatown & very quiet. Fantastic, comfortable rooms & good breakfast. Love staying here.

Plus: 1.convenient location for public transportation and food. 2.quality of breakfast is ok. Cons: 1. Booked a wake-up call for the departure morning but it did not happen. Never happened to us before. 2. Some customers were asked if they want omelet and/or special coffee drinks when they walled in for breakfast, but most customers were not asked. So they were not aware of existence of those services. 3. Charged the first three nights on our credit card without noticing us. (Most hotels charge at checkout time) 4. Expensive, compared to other nicer ones we used. 5. Relatively old facilities overall.

Hotel close to the central

Not the best for the price

Cons: Not having to keep chasing for the basic items to be available in the room. Especially when we had already said that not enough set up for no ofguest
Location: Powerhouse museum is within walking distance. Great Vietnamese restaurant over the street
We booked a family room for 4 people. On arrival all seemed great, left luggage and went sightseeing. When we got back to our room, our luggage was no where to be found and we were told it would be at least half hour before it would come to our room. Keep in mind they had had more than 8 hours to get our luggage to our room. We went to take a shower and noticed that there was only enough towels and supplies for 2 people. It was a room designed for 4. We asked for more to brought up which were, and we had to ask for extra 2 of everything, glasses, cups, teabags, milk etc etc. The second night, we thought it would be all set for 4, but no, it was again set for only 2 people. Having to chase to have enough towels in a room should not be what we are doing. Ok hotel, not great, and would expect more considering what we paid. We noticed too that a couple of times our door was not fully closed after housekeeping had been in. We arrived back late one night and found our door open, we checked and everything was there luckily and when questioned reception, we were told they would mention to housekeeping. Again the same thing happened when we returned from breakfast, our door was ajar and not fully closed. No explanation from reception, we were just lucky none of our valuables had been touched.

Nice hotel with good location

Pros: Location and surroundings. Located very close to central station. Very easy to move around. Close to chinatown to get easy Asian meal.
Cons: Room was bit outdated. Some old stains. Small bathroom.
Location: Chinatown, Central station and Woolworth supermarket. Easy to get cheap meals and groceries.
We arrived early in the morning. Greeted by very very nice doorman. Front office gladly hold our bags till afternoon. Room was bit outdated but tidy and clean. Hotel located very closed to central station and yet not in the main street so it was quite too. Woolworths supermarket was right around the corner. Uni was near by, so small cheap restaurant was near by too. Overall good.
