Good for public transport, high environmental load

Posted Feb 6, 2017
Pros: Location and buffet breakfast. Nearly all of the staff are helpful, polite.
Cons: Environmental sustainability. Turn off pool heating in summer. Provide towel rails and soap dishes in bathrooms. Your barista's coffee skills.
Location: Easy walk to Central Station, Chinatown, Darling Harbour, UTS, Railway Square, downtown.
Our room was spacious, with a balcony that we didn't use because it was dirty and because neighbouring traffic and air conditioners make it so noisy. Cleaners neatened everything up daily. Room sleeps 4 but there are cups and glasses only for 2. Good desk space to work in-room but no quiet business centre outside the room. Bathroom just big enough but nowhere to hang laundry or wet towels from, so think ahead if you want to use the pool or care about sustainability. The pool is a good depth for splashing and lounging but not long enough to swim in. Even in hot February temperatures it was heated. And cloudy white. Pool showers grubby. Rooms have good air conditioning until it occasionally switches to heating. Reception knew about it but had no solution. We woke up really hot a few nights because the air conditioning had switched into heating mode. Overall the room was fairly quiet but the walls and door are not thick enough to block loud people in the hallways, nor those who make an endurance sport of clearing their sinuses in their rooms. Lots of mucus-athletes with shouting children stay at this hotel. Some sniff, snort and hoick non-stop into full-blast running water for as long as half an hour. A lot of people leave room service trays in a mess on the corridor floors, where they don't get picked up until the afternoon. Well connected to Central Station south concourse, Railway Square bus hub, and Darling Harbour via the Goods Line pedestrian walk.

Centrally locaeted, good breakfast and helpfl staf

Posted Feb 1, 2017
Pros: Loved the variety at breakfast, but best to go early when it is not packed out. Good to have an ourdoor pool, even though it was a small area.
Cons: The pillows in the rooms were not so fab.
Stayed with family, lovely to walk on the old tramline to the Powerhouse from there, Central station close by. Handy to citysights and not too far to travel by cab or train to Darling Harbour, and Circular Quay.

Right beside the great food of Chinatown and bargains of Paddy's Market and a short walk to Powerhouse and Maritime Museums and Darling Harbour precinct. Perfect for a few days with the kids.

Pleasing but disappointing.

Pros: Perfect location. Walking distance to central station, Darling harbor, restaurants, shoppings, and Sydney harbor.
Cons: Better housekeeping staff.
Location: Location is just a few minutes walk to almost everything. You can find a lot of restaurants around. Very accessible to all public transport.
There was no problem upon check in. Manager on duty, Ms. Del Rosario, was excellent and accomodating. However, housekeeping staff needs more training on replenishing the most important things like bathroom tissues, or toilet paper as they call it, towels and the like. Although Ms. del Rosario was quick enough to provide us what we needed, it was a different story when we checked out with a different front desk staff. We were charged for some beers from the room fridge even we only took 1 bottled water. 4 breakfast were charged even though we only had 3. It was fixed though, but front staff took a while to figure out what she was doing.
