Hotel is fine - definitely due a refresh, but ok. Adjoining Pumphouse bar is decent. Wifi surprisingly good and fast. Lifts slow. Pool (about 10m) decent for a morning swim. Iron and ironing board in the room.
The thing preventing a higher rating is I used the "express checkout" where they claim to email a receipt through afterwards. This they have not done - it was only for a breakfast, so hardly the end of the world - but would have been a big issue if for the entire stay.
Also, during the process of checkin or wifi, I was coerced into receiving Accor hotel emails. I received several, in a short space of time, and in French. I speak French, and this may be a result of previous Ibis/Mercure/whatever visits I have made, but it was still an irritation.
