We asked to change room after discovering a big cockroach wandering about around midnight & we were told they can just spray the room with us or our luggage there. They finally agreed to move us to another room but they were so short of staff no one managed to come & move our luggage for ages. We kept being told there were only 2 staff on duty for the night shift!!!
We called the hotel manager the next morning to report the incident. She said she would follow up but when we asked for a discount she said she would come back to us & she never did.
Overall, pretty disappointing service for a so called 5 star hotel. It seems to think that having cockroaches running around is just part of the "Sydney" experience.
