Good value accommodation

Posted Jun 2, 2016
Pros: The large grounds and privacy.
Cons: The restaurant did not offer enough variety and the menu could be changed to suit the colder weather. Too much fish, not enough beef and no chicken.
Location: Lovely private beach. Great for people who like to walk and run. Shuttle buses who drive you from reception and restaurant are quick and efficient.
We had a lovely stay at the Q Station. The weather was very poor and we were unable to enjoy the balcony harbour view but we did manage to find a sitting room which was comfortable and warm and provided the newspaper, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. The people who stayed next door were loud talkers and it carried through to our room which made it difficult to sleep. The bed and pillows where very comfortable but next time I would book one of the private cottages due to the noise. The facilities were wonderful and it would be a great place to stay in the warmer months.

Getaway but close to the city

Posted May 22, 2016
The feeling of the hotel is kind of getaway feeling. Quiet hotel close to the beach with an excellent view. Very easy to go to the city. It has its own wharf where you can catch a ferri directly to Circular Quay or only 20 mins drive. Very beautiful place with an interesting history. My fiancee and I stayed there only one night but it was a very impressive trip for us. The room and proximity were very clean. Staffs were nice and friendly. We will definitely go back!

Beautiful site; amazing wildlife and views.

Posted May 19, 2016
Pros: The beautiful, natural surroundings, floral and fauna.
Cons: I was unable to get the room heater to work. On the last morning I was unable to get the TV to work.
Location: Wonderful restored historic buildings. Loads of open space, bush walk paths and a pristine beach. Easy to access Manly for more facilities and ferry
A really peaceful retreat venue. Being a bit remote might not suit business visitor needs but perfect for family holidays.

Beautiful Heritage Hideaway

Posted May 3, 2016
Beautiful peaceful heritage buildings with renovated rooms by the harbour. The only downside was the lack of windows/air conditioning making th rooms stuffy at night but the long doors open during the day were lovely. This is due to the Heritage building status. Set amongst National Park bushland there are many walks & interesting places to visit on the site. Wonderful!
