Close to everythingPosted Nov 23, 2015
Pros: The hotel was central to everything we wanted to do in Sydney
Cons: The breakfast room got very hot in the morning, not sure whether the airconditioner was turned off or whether they need to instal sails over the pool.
Location: Short walk to Circular Quay and the Harbour Bridge. We hopped on a ferry and went to Taronga Park Zoo. Cruise Terminal is a five minute walk.
We were going on a cruise and the hotel was a five minute walk from the cruise terminal. The rooms are spacious and have everything you want for a stay in Sydney.

Excellent location, great staffPosted Nov 3, 2015
They even noticed we were there for a while and offered to stock our fridge with a few groceries to get us up and running. Fines location in Sydney.

Nice hotel in great locationPosted Sep 20, 2015
Cons: Our room could have used with a bit of TLC - towel rack very loose, walls stained - minor things that could make a difference.
A++ for location. A 5 minute walk to Circular Quay, the Opera House and the city. Cafes and restaurants all around. Our room was tidy but looking a bit worn. The bed was acceptable but not great. Staff were wonderful and as helpful as possible. We will definitely return here - definite value for money for such a great location.

Don't stay on a Saturday nightPosted Aug 22, 2015 on Wotif
Pros: This will not be our preferred accommodation in future even though views of Opera House and Harbour Bridge were amazing!
Cons: Staff friendliness and street noise.
Location: The Rocks is a a great location......party time on a Saturday night!
Room was comfortable with views of Opera House and Harbour Bridge. We booked a twin room four months prior to stay but days before our arrival, an email said twin rooms were unavailable so we were given a Queen. Not suitable for us. A roller bed was then supplied which was extremely disappointing. Street noise on Saturday night was near unbearable. Nightclubs and pubs in vicinity and excessive noise.

A birthday treat.Posted Aug 13, 2015 on Hotels
My daughter stayed for her birthday. Her room was upgraded, and a card and bottle of wine was given also. Her 1 bedroom apartment had a wonderful view of the harbour and opera house. She was thrilled with the room, the staff and the whole experience. Thank you.

Surprisingly lovelyPosted Aug 9, 2015 on Wotif
Admittedly I'm usually a 5 star suite kind of girl, however the hotel was conveniently close to Quay Restaurant where we had a wonderful work dinner. The bed was incredibly comfy and Regina, the lady that looked after me at breakfast was a lovely and I am not a morning person. Unfortunately they only had room service from 6pm till 9pm and no in room breakfast. Definitely worth staying at again.
