I understand they are undergoing a renovation. Hotel location is excellent and my room had a lovely outlook towards the beach, however the condition of it was poor. Stained carpets, torn curtains. Street noise easily heard. In the morning I could hear the renovation work going on upstairs. Tiling, I believe they were up to. Room heating was not working, but fixed for the second night. Staff were accommodating and friendly and made all efforts to try and compensate. Absolutely not worth the price point given I had just come from 2 nights at the Pullman Hyde park with a cheaper room rate. Most motels at 60% of the rate are in as good or better condition.
