Great location

Renovate or detonate

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
Location: I was too cold to venture out as room heating was broken!
Ok, I understand old hotels need to renovate and some rooms are just plain tired but lets face it, its not the cheapest and its certainly not the best. Room desperately needed updating and bathroom even had open pipes (not sure why) Thermostat didnt work in room so the cold nights air found its way inside the carpet looked like a crime scene had been previously taken place and not cleaned well And the breakfast! for close to $30 I expected a decent feed but alas the food wa as overpriced as the rooms! Renovate or Detonate? I say Detonate!

Please be advised that the hotel is currently under renovations which include an extensive upgrade of all rooms including a complete refit of all bathrooms and wall to wall furnishings as well as our pool, spa, dining facilities and public areas. Naturally we are very keen to ensure we maintain our normal service levels during the refurbishment and customer service and comfort is our primary concern during this time. Car park could be better, a very tight squeeze to maneuver & not many car spaces

Disappointing Stay

Pros: It was near the location of my meeting.
Cons: Just about everything
Location: The location was great - near the beach.
The hotel was in the midst of renovations so the overall appeal was ordinary, but no allowance was given for this in the cost. The Shower fitting came up to my chest making it difficult to wash my hair. The hairdryer required a finger on a button the whole time to keep it going. The breakfast was ridicuously expensive and cold. Unfortunately there was nothing else open nearby for breakfast or we would have gone elsewhere. The staff onthe other hand were thoughtful and efficient and I have no complaints in that regard.

Great location near beach and shops in Nth Cronull

Pros: I loved the new furnishings and the amazing view.
Cons: I wasn't told about the $20 fee each person each night for car parking, so that was the only damper re:.forking out another $40 for one night.
Location: The location was near Nth Cronulla Surf Club, beach and shops.
I wasn't sure about the correct entrance into the car park but the staff assisted me wonderfully. I was meeting up with two girlfriends : a reunion from 20 years ago. The staff brought us great wine glasses and upgraded us........so special!!!

Severely overpriced

I understand they are undergoing a renovation. Hotel location is excellent and my room had a lovely outlook towards the beach, however the condition of it was poor. Stained carpets, torn curtains. Street noise easily heard. In the morning I could hear the renovation work going on upstairs. Tiling, I believe they were up to. Room heating was not working, but fixed for the second night. Staff were accommodating and friendly and made all efforts to try and compensate. Absolutely not worth the price point given I had just come from 2 nights at the Pullman Hyde park with a cheaper room rate. Most motels at 60% of the rate are in as good or better condition.

Great location and views of Cronulla Beach

Pros: Friendly staff, access to undercover parking and freshly renovated rooms.
Cons: It would be nice to have a small desk or table in the room.
Room was really comfortable though we were there when renovations were taking place on the floors below. Easy walking to local restaurants and the beach. We ate at Splash a tapas restaurant with very generous size tapas and a great variety.
