This hotel is in the middle of it all!

The location is unbeatable.......2 min walk to the circular quay with all the food and transportation options you could ever need. The room was modern, comfortable, clean, and functional. The staff are welcoming, knowledgeable, and always at the ready to help. The only problem was the construction and clearly this is a temporary issue. The lobby, restaurants, and bars were all closed. The noise as they jack hammered was almost unbearable in the lobby. It was very unfortunate for me because I was traveling alone for business and my stay was only a few days so a hotel bar or restaurant would of been a great place to spend my time and maybe meet people. I have no doubt that when the construction is finished this Hotel will be among the best to stay at in Sydney.

Great Option close to Opera House

Pros: Location, staff, rooms.
Cons: Will be beautiful lobby area once finished.
Location: Only a 10-15 minute meander around to the Opera House, and only 2-5 minute walk to the Circular Quay Train Station and the Ferry Terminal.
Despite the renovations happening in the Lobby and reception area, the staff were very knowledgeable and check-in was easy and quick. Rooms are well appointed and comfortable - we had a partial bridge view room and shower was open (no stepping over a bath). Check out also speedy - though there was a slight wait for the lift as we were checking out at a peak time, and were on the 21st floor.

Good hotel, in a very good location

We stayed here for 5 nights from 18 January. There is renovation work going on on the lower floors, though this didn't affect us. We upgraded to a room with a view of Sydney Opera house, which in our view is worth doing. The Circular Quay harbour is only 2 minutes walk away and the main shopping area 5 minutes away.

Nice hotel close to the wharf

The hotel was conveniently located near the wharf. The staff was helpful, allowing us to get our room hours before the normal check in time. We were upgraded to a lovely corner room with a view. They had complementary coffee made by a barista in the lobby each morning. I would love to stay there again.

Great location, excellent staff, rooms not 5 Star

Very noisy renovations undertaken in lobby during the stay and many upgrades in terms of eating taking place. The rooms are very dated and rather basic (even the more expensive bridge view room that we paid extra for). You get a small window, one arm chair, a bed, a shower, a desk and that's about it. Very dull decor. No real luxuries for this level of hotel rating. I find it increasingly insulting that hotels that charge this much per night don't have in room complimentary wi fi. I'm sure many international guests would be surprised by this as it is virtually standard anywhere else in the world. I've stayed at 2 and 3 star motels internationally that provide it. Staff were outstanding and were incredibly helpful and cheerful. The early arrivals lounge was excellent especially for early or late flights. Buffet breakfast very good.
