Conveniently Situated

Conveniently situated for easy connections to Eastern Suburbs and city. Room allocated wàs pleasant clean. Bathroom sink very small as was cupboard but suffient for one person. Continental Breakfast was more than enough and plentiful variety.

Charming Hotel and Great Location

Pros: Friendly staff and good food
Cons: There was a cockroach sharing my bathroom on the first night.
The location is great, the hotel is quaint and the continental breakfast is lovely. However there was a loud thunderstorm when I arrived and my room was located at the back of the hotel where the entry to the carpark was so my room wasn't quiet.

Nice Hotel

Pros: the interior decoration, and I love the place for breakfast.. very comfortable and home feeling!
Cons: Strong flow shower head
Location: Location is actually good. although it is not in central of the city, bus stop is closed, and only need 10mins to reach to the city
Nice staff, nice breakfast, nice room, Nice hotel !

Room 12 was terrible no air conditioning extremely hot, bed very small for 2 people. The only good things was it was really clean. I don't recommend the room for 2 people. Breakfast was normal.

Room 12 is one of our Cosy rooms and they are well named. They are best suited to business travelers or budget travelers. For those wanting more than a clean bed and bathroom we recommend the Standard room or higher.

Home away from home

Sydney is where I grew up and Woollahra is special for me. So whenever I visit Sydney The Hughenden is the place for me - close to the people dear to me, to my familiar haunts, and to the facilities I want, like cafes, specialty food stores etc. The Hughenden itself is convenient, comfortable, relaxed and friendly, with a very good breakfast. It suits me just fine.

Quaint historical friendly (pets too). A lovely place to stay. Great breakfasts. Staff very welcoming. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay

Nice boutique hotel

Pros: The location is excellent. It has a lovely bar area & the breakfast was really nice with heaps of variety.
Great location for us as it is within walking distance of Allianz Stadium where we attended a concert. Also walking distance into Paddington. The hotel is in a beautiful street which had a European feel.

Far from impressed

Called this motel on December 1 to cancel booking. Booking was not cancelled & 14 days later I have been charged for not staying at the Hughenden Staff are rude & refuse to refund blaming Expedia. Expedia were not even used to make booking. Staff have records of my call to cancel booking but are claiming that I "may" have cancel. Why would I keep a booking for the wrong date!?!

As discussed over the phone, your booking was with Wotif, who is owned by Expedia. You did not cancel with Wotif, or with us. Our cancellation policy is 48 hours, where if you cancel outside 48 hours there is no charge, if you cancel within 48 hours or don't show up to the booking we charge for your stay. As you didn't cancel the booking and did not respond to our attempts to contact you so we charged your card in accordance with the cancellation policy.
