This hotel was in the perfect spot for a work trip. It was equidistant from all the offices I had to visit, and its Chinatown location was perfect for delicious food at any time of day or night. It's right off the main strip of Chinatown, with all the shops and restaurants, so there are always people around at night, but it's not loud. The staff were so nice and helpful and always around when you needed them. The hotel was very nice and clean and had everything you could need. I loved the motion sensor bathroom nightlight. The rooms are a bit tight, as per usual in a city, so I recommend it to anyone traveling for work or maybe a couple.

Stylish, recently renovated hotel, nice room and comfortable bed. Loads of Asian food options around and easy walk to CBD and Darling Harbour. All good EXCEPT the room aircon seemed to lose cooling capability sometime in the small hours and although 20 degrees set, room temp was 24.4 at 5 am, preventing comfortable sleep.

I cannot expressed how impressed I was with this Hotel. Walking distance from central station. The area surrounding is in China town so there is plenty of food options at reasonable prices. The staff at this hotel were attentive, polite and went over and above to help their guests. The rooms were small but very comfortable. The beds are fantastic and the bathroom is modern, clean and has a great shower. I would stay here again, a great place to stay at a reasonable price

Very stylish hidden spot. Really nicely appointed rooms, and nice restaurant downstairs. Room was on the smaller side (not much room for a large suitcase).

A very nice smaller hotel with really lovely reception staff! Great area in between Chinatown, Central Station and Pitt Street mall.

Love love love our stay!! Staff are friendly and welcoming, room was beautiful my sister fell inlove with its interior, daily housekeeping is great specially when you're travelling with a little one.

Lovely hotel, room was clean and tidy and staff were lovely. Hotel is close to tram and bus stops, and is a walkable distance from many shops, restaurants and cafes. Upon arrival, check in is at the bar counter so was a bit confusing as to whether I was in the right place.

The Morris Hotel is a hidden gem in Pitt Street. The furnishings are quirky and trendy. The staff are very professional, helpful and knowledgeable.

The rooms are modern, clean and spacious. The staff were very helpful and polite. The only negative is that’s it’s difficult to find the hotel as there is very little signage and the lobby is also a bar/restaurant, so I was confused when I walked in to check-in. But that’s the only negative I have about my stay. I would definitely stay here again next time I am in Sydney.

Very nice staff, perfect location walkable from Chinatown, restaurants, and train and bus stops. The room itself was smaller than expected - barely enough space to open the door and the bed took up the entire room. Being on the 3rd floor, the window provided no sunlight or view, as it looked directly at brick walls in all directions that were all within arm's reach. When room cleaning was asked for, they only changed bed sheets and gave new towels - no fresh toiletries, toilet paper, or tissues provided, and the floor (what little of it there was) was not vacuumed. The provided mini fridge did not get cold (even at the coldest setting), and the fridge door was warm (almost hot)to the touch. The fridge also appeared to not have been cleaned out since the last tenant, as there was a small carton of milk in there. The room was also right outside the elevator, and you could hear the elevator motors as it zoomed up and down the hotel at all hours.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Charming hotel with character. We chose to upgrade to a suite as some rooms are very small. Upgrade was inexpensive, so well worth it. Sole downside was poor sound insulation between our room and the next, but overall great.

This new boutique hotel in Sydney’s Thai Town is a great addition to accommodation choices. The staff are very helpful, the rooms are well appointed and overall the Hotel Morris is a must to check out for your next City stay.
