Railway hotel - Be sure to request a quiet room.

The important things were there - clean sheets, firm but comfortable beds and pillows, thick fluffy soft towels every day including face cloths. A light breakfast was included which made things easy first thing in the mornings. However there is a lot that needs up grading and repairing. There is a musty smell in the corridors that is much stronger when you open your room door. This is probably coming from the drains.
Under the beds were not cleaned and we found food from some previous guests.
There was thick black gunge in the corners of the bathroom and around the tap with black areas around the mirrir and in the tile grouting. The shower door would not open and we juggled around with it so we could squeeze in. We had to lift one panel right off and lean it against the wall. No repairs availableduring the weekend. It was not repaired on the Monday either but we were offered another room. We did not feel like packing up all our stuff and moving as we only had 2 more nights.
Another big problem was the blind. It could only be reached by opening the top window and trying to free it from its slot so we could wriggle it down. Then open the lower window to wriggle it to the bottom. The craziest set-up I have ever come across. There is another window after the blind. After the second day we just left it down permanently. Other areas were all minor incomparison.
