I saw it was pet friendly but apparently their 4th is not. No information about this in their booking process. Staff were a bit rude and acted like I should have known this and that it was my fault I clicked a room on Expedia for a hotel that said it was pet friendly.

Multiple stays here
We’ve stayed here several times now and this is a great hotel overall. Location is excellent. Pool and hot tub are good and the staff and food is always consistent and good!

First time in Sylvan Lake. Beautiful little town and the hotel was very clean and within walking distance to everything.

Property was great. It snowed over night and some poor fellow was out shovelling around the hotel without any mitts. Long, slow process

We were in the hotel the same night as a hockey tournament. Kids were running up and down the halls screaming until midnight. My husband and I called front desk several times with no luck until he came out to the lobby to confront parents. There were several parents and probably a dozen kids. They had words until front desk said they were calling the police .my husband said finally your doing something about this noise. Next thing we know we are being asked to leave the hotel. We were not the only others complaining and we were not disturbing other guests yet we are asked to leave and not reimbursed for our stay. So unacceptable this hotel and entire chain gets a big 0 will never stay with best Western again.

Staff were great, room was very large and clean. Breakfast in the lobby was delicious and had many well balanced options. We enjoyed our stay during a hockey tournament and are looking forward to our next stay here.

I found the facility very clean including the grounds and the room. The bed should be replaced. found it to be very unlevel. The continental breakfast was great, the stations were fully stalked. Hospitality was quite friendly.

Excellent Place To Get Away To
Staff were courtesy throughout our stay. We had an issue with the mattress in our room, and the staff worked with us to get us into a different, equivalent room. Rooms were clean, service and assistance was prompt. Breakfast food was a good selection of staple choices (eggs, sausages, waffles, cereal, etc.). Bed was comfy, room was quiet. Close to lots of amenities, including walking paths around the lake and the mini lighthouse.

Great place to stay!
This hotel is in an excellent location. It is very clean and updated. The staff are wonderful and great breakfast is included in the price. My only complaint is that part of a luxury of staying in a hotel is having your room made up completely. The rooms are cleaned daily and amenities and towels replenished but the bed is not made! If you have to make your own bed then give a slight discount for each additional night of stay.

We come here almost every summer and stay at this hotel. The staff are super helpful and friendly, the pool is nice if the lake is yucky and we love how close it is to everything, like the pottery place across the street, restaurants, the beach, etc. Love it here!
