The room was dirty upon entering with my children, the hallway where our room was located was filled with the smell of marijuana to the point of almost vomiting, I tried to take a shower and the bath tub filled with someone’s hair and then would not drain and there’s not hot water.The price I was charged for a night was RIDICULOUS! Completely dissatisfied.

I loved the big yard it had to walk my dog. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good, it needs more gluten-free options. The thing that bugged me most was they didn't empty the trash outside the building. I was there 3 nights and they were overflowing.

I can only say bad things because I had a reservation for 2 rooms and because my flight to the area was changed, I had to cancel ... but instead of cancelling I asked to change my stay to another night a month later. They would not allow it even though it would have cost me more for the change and them receiving more I could not change, I could not cancel, no refund. I will never stay there again although I travel to that area several times a year. They were not willing to work with me. There are other hotels in the area that will receive my business.

First morning of our stay, water was shut off just as my girlfriend put shampoo on her hair. Tried to phone front desk but phone not working. Had to use cell phone. I was told plumbers were working on lines and would be back on shortly. Not good enough as i demanded they turn it back on immediately which they did. Second morning, plumbers turned off cold water without notice resulting in steaming/scalding hot water in both the sink and shower. I can only imagine the danger of a child turning on the water.

There was no wifi available despite the hotel advertising wifi and when I asked about it I was told it had been down several days and not to expect it to be fixed during our stay. Inconvenient for when travelling internationally as I then had to purchase an eSIM card. We had absolutely no hot water in our room, a fact we learned only after swimming so my 10 year old and I had no choice but to take a freezing cold shower. I asked the front desk about this and they told me this was a known issue in “some” rooms, a fact that should have been disclosed upon check in. When I reached out to a manager via email about these issues, I had to follow up to get a response and was told there would be a “partial” refund through Expedia but my reply asking the amount and with whom I should follow up with was left unanswered and still no partial refund. This hotel does not live up the the best western standards and I will never stay there or recommend it.

Location was ok. Staff very nice. Beds comfortable. Close to highway so a bit noisy when trying to sleep. Like that there is an indoor pool and hot tub, however, it looks like they have water damage they are trying to fix and there was an area in the pool area on the ceiling with a lot of black mold on it. Also, only two bath towels were in the room for three guests and we ended up having to ask at the front desk for a roll of toilet paper since no extra rolls in our bathroom and there was not much on the roll when we checked in. Another issue was that there was supposed to be free wifi and when we tried to join, it didn’t even show up in the list of wifi to use on any of our devices, so no wifi at all.

We were 2hrs early for check in but it was going to cost $10/hr to check in early. We were going to drop off bags and head back out. I could see if the room wasn’t ready or if we were going to use something but I’ve never encountered that before. If the room was ready, why not. Then we were placed in the middle of a high school group. I was travelling with my child. They were up very late. When I called the desk, it should have been monitored but it wasn’t. The staff were friendly just two pieces that made the stay less enjoyable.

When we checked into our room, it had not been cleaned. Both bed coverings were covered in dog hair , as well as the covers underneath. The bathroom had not been cleared either. The staff moved us to another room. Unfortunately, my 10 month old grandson that was with us is allergic to pet dander. In the short time we had been in the room, it affected him. We ended up having to leave the hotel and drive home.

Staff was cheerful and helpful, Bed was poorly assembled though. Main complaint was the lack of maintenance of the hot tub. Water was murky and sides were dirty. Did not complain but it did not improve overnight. Also breakfast lacked alot of items such as juice, fresh fruit and fridge was empty. The lady working at replenishing items saw we were not drinking coffee so asked us what juice we wanted and told her boss to give her juice bottles for us. Should have mentioned my complaints when I checked out but didn't. I believe it was the owner and he should have already been aware. This hotel does not meet Best Western's standards.

I have stayed multiple times previously however this stay I am disappointed to report that the entire hotel was dirty. The hallways seem to have been neglected to be vacuumed, lots of trash and linens in the hallway for long periods of time. Mold in the pool area, chewed gum on the floor and no towels after the pool use. There was peanut butter on the coffee maker, hair in the bed linens. The shower would not work, only the tub. Hoping they were short staffed of just an off day!

The room wasn't cleaned very well. There was a vape and a shaving razor under the sink on the floor . Stands of hair on the bathroom floor. The room was dusty in some spots. Housekeeping just needs to pay a little more attention while cleaning.

First off there was a blood stain on the bedding, then there was something stuck to the walls. The floor was horrible, they laid click together flooring over carpet in the room. They didn’t even take the take to put an edging on it and you’d easily cut your foot on it. In the morning the window had so much condensation on it, there was a puddle on the heater. When we checked out the attendant acted like nothing was wrong and blew off what I said to him. He acted like nothing was wrong.

While this definitely was not the worst place I've ever stayed, I certainly would not stay here again. Customer service was almost nonexistent. The front lobby looked clean enough, but the halls were filthy- trash and dirty linens sitting outsiide of rooms. Our room door was actually open after we checked in (we didn't have to swipe in). There was a disgusting, visibly dirty washcloth balled up in the bathroom sink. We alerted the front desk about the washcloth when we stopped to ask for additional towels (the second time we had to ask- the first time, the lady at desk told us she was on break and we would have to wait until she was done at 4:30 and she would bring them up) - the man told us housekeeping left at 4:30 and it was now 5:30. We told him other things were missing in the room. He didnt offer to give us any of them. We went to dinner, thinking they may take care of our room. They did not. The filthy washcloth was still there and the missing items were not there. The workers gave us a hard time about getting towels because they were running short due to so many people staying. We had 4 people in the room, we needed at least 4 towels. There were no towels left in the pool/hot tub room either. There was also an issue with hot water in the bathroom, especially in the morning. Family members had to get cold showers. I am unsure if the sheets were actually clean- no obvious spots, but evidence that they weren't newly laundered. The breakfast was decent with basic choices.

This place is terrible. The check in receptionist, an Indian lady attitude is rude and terrible. For the deposit, she asked me swipe credit twice, actually after first time swiped card, she said it wasn’t successful but I saw the machine shows processing and then approved, then I check my online banking it shows one transaction on pending. However, she refused check in and forced me to swipe credit card again. As results, I show my online banking showing two transactions under pending which means it was double charged. However, she argued she only charged one time, asked me call her manager. And then I said can you double check with your manager both pending transactions will be released after check out, and she said her manager is off. Overall conversation her attitude was so rude. I never had this experience in any hotel before. I rate zero out of ten for this hotel as the receptionist is unprofessional and rude.

Not a norm for this place…
I checked in little after 3 to tell me that no room was available… I’m confused.. so waited for room to be available… then I get room tv doesn’t work … Then get call saying this room has been booked by someone else she’s not sure what happened.. i said I just showered and im trying to sleep… im not sure what happened but I left room felt uncomfortable thinking someone would show up .. I went back to room to leave tip for cleaners and dropped off key to desk telling guy tv didn’t work and no response or apology.. This isn’t a norm for this place I use to feel very comfortable here .. Just sad seeing this change.. plus piles of dirty linen all over the hallway too..
