"Good central location "
Enjoyed our two-week stay here. Good breakfast with nice views. Comfortable room with effective air conditioning. Boat costs €10 per person to get to and from beach. But that includes lounger and umbrella. Facilities at beach basic and food not great. But lovely place to swim: calm, salty, very warm sea-bathing. Helpful beach boys. Siracusa is a great city with lots of good bars and restaurants. This is an excellent location from which to explore it. Would go again.

"Incredible views over the garbour"
This is a wonderful hotel in a very beautiful place in the heart of Ortigia, the tiny "island" at the tip of Syracusa. Rooms are great, shared terraces are lovely and we've never had such a fantastic variety at breakfast (even providing almond milk for vegans). However, what really makes this place so special are the staff, who go out of their way to make guests feel at home and to help if needed. I'm telling all my friends to come here and I'm sure we'll be back.

"Renovated hotel in the heart of Ortygia."
The hotel is located in the heart of Ortygia and has a very friendly and accommodating staff. The free breakfast was the best we had in Sicily. It includes a buffet with many fruits, cakes, etc. and a menu to order additional food. Hotel guests are permitted to enjoy the buffet and menu at the same time. There is free coffee, water and wine the entire day. Guests are allowed to make international and domestic phone calls at no cost. There is a free mini bar with water and soda. The hotel is very well maintained and clean and the rooms are renovated and spacious. The staff was very helpful and patient.

"Good positions close to centre"
The hotel was in a good position but the walk to satellite rooms were a surprise and quite a long way from reception. Every else was fine about the room and breakfast. The location was fantastic with free parking as well.

"Close to all tourist spots, very helpful staff"
Reserved parking in front of the door, easy access to/from the autostrada and tourist spots in Ortygia and Syracuse. The staff was able to book ferry tickets from Catania to Naples when our flight was unexpectedly cancelled with no alternate flights available and no travel agency open. The wifi is strongest in the lobby. The room and breakfast are good. Good value for money.

"Historic, beautiful hotel near all amenities"
A imposing hotel with beautiful sea views to the front with a wide range of restaurants and entertainment close by. We were there during the finals of the World Canoe Polo Championships so the marina area was packed. All amenities are within walking distance and there is a "Hop on, hop off bus to take you to the Greek Theatre. The breakfast was extensive and the staff very welcoming and helpful. The roof bar/restaurant is not expensive and well worth a visit. The downside was the lack of sunbathing/lounging areas. There is no swimming pool and the beach (100m away) is very small. It is not suitable for beach lovers We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return..

"Beach outside the front door"
Great hotel BUT?.... Unpleasant smell when we first checked in that we assumed was cleaning supplies. Smell got worst on second day and was unbearable when we finally switched on day 3. Suppose it was our fault for not changing rooms earlier.
