The room was small but comfortable,nicely decorated, and clean. One oddity (for me) -- check-in was done remotely via a kiosk located before the lobby. This lenghened the check-in process.

Our room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The facility is run down and cracked/crumbling in many places. There is no breakfast. Staff was, with one exception, uninterested or unresponsive about the smoke problem. Finally, on our last of 3 nights, we were moved to a good room.

The room still had dirt on the floor. In the bathroom you could see mold growing in a corner. The towels they gave you were the size of a head towel. The bed was uncomfortable.

Not very clean. TV didn't work, called, no one came. My Yorkie found a fortune cookie, we didn't get Chinese. Check in was a fiasco.

The check in is time consuming through some kind of remote video check in. No person at the desk. The interior is a bit dated although some rooms have been repainted (we rented 3 rooms). The towels are clean but dingy and the fan in the bathroom didn't work. The beds are comfortable but the furniture is a bit old and chipped.

The light in the bathroom did not work and the light above the window seat did not work . Also the heat lamp and fan in the bathroom did not work. We tried to contact maintenance and the house keeping with no luck. Very frustrating. This was a father and son weekend trip and I’m very disappointed .

My room smelled like cigarettes and its a non smoking facility. Was told i could get a refund. Then once i left, my refund was declined. And the woman at the front dest lied to me and was very rude afterwards.

Two of three days-no maid service. (Day 1 was claimed by them to be our fault, day 2 was unexplained.) No hot water final night and morning-no notice or offer to move us to room with hot water. Radiator/heater dial broken. (Air blew either cool or very hot.) Front desk button on room phone goes to “invalid number.” After-hours communication with staff limited to video kiosk in front entryway. Complaints/concerns to staff were mostly explained away as the guest failing to understanding how they run things. There was never an apology for the inconvenience or an indication of understanding. We stayed here 5 months ago and it wasn’t great, but it was better. With exception of kind woman at check-in, it was a bad stay. We will not stay here again.

No human attendent on site. Only a check in kiosk that required that you stand in the breezeway while you completed check in. The woman on the video check-in was nice enough, but it crashed and i had to stand in the breezeway for about 20min have the come out of the machine. The fitness center is there but locked. Was not opened at 6am as stated on the sign outside the door. Drain in the bathroom sink of the room does not drain for 5 min after washing up. Wallpaper badly peeled down over a window at the end of the hall. Big waterspot on the drop ceiling. Next morning, coffee wasn't ready in the loby till after 7. We'll try somwhere else next time on Auburn.

This place was perfectly situated between Syracuse and wine country. The room, while a little smaller than expected, was very clean and pretty quiet. Bed was comfortable. Walkable to nearby restaurants and some shops. I didn't like the electronic check-in process. Good place for a long weekend stay, for football and wine!

We stayed for 1 night. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot. The rooms were clean if you didn't look too closely. But don't look too closely, or you'll see what looks like the remnants of vomit down the wall by the headboard and hair on the shower ledge. And the fridge in our room was going bad, and it made noises that reminded me of an underwater submarine movie. If we were staying more than 1 night, I would have asked for a new room, especially since I had paid $150 for it.

Things did not go well beginning with check in. Neither my husband nor I have ever done a remote check in before. I could not tell if the person I was talking to was in a secure room in the hotel or if she was working thousands of miles away. There was no sign of staff once we got our keys and were inside the rest of the hotel. The room itself seemed fine, but we were having trouble with the Wifi. I had it most of the time, but not always, and my husband could not seem to get the Wifi to stay on his computer for more than a minute. Since there was no staff downstairs I went back to the check in kiosk and talked to the same person as before. They said that there was no problem and just keep trying. The parking lot and stairs from one of the exits to the parking lot are falling apart. We just decided that between the Wifi, no evidence of staff to address any problem, and the general lack of maintenance of the outside of the problem we were going to leave, even though that cost us over $100.
