Great locatiion and owner and staff.

Posted Apr 18, 2016
A very old building with a slight mustiness, but a clean and quiet room. Simple but fresh breakfast provided at a nearby cafe.Big plus: It was great to stay right in Ortygia a few steps from the water or from the centre. And the staff were very helpful

Weekend stay

Posted Apr 7, 2016 on Hotels
Location great. Breakfast isn't on site, you are provided a voucher for a Cafe in the main square for a croissant and a coffee which is quite nice and only a 5 minute walk. Wifi ok but a bit patchy. Bed "ok" but quite firm/hard. Room was really big which was great. No slippers provided (floors are all tiled which isn't comfortable, you need to wear socks or shoes!) and no hair dryer. Overall, a good stay but nothing amazing.

Great B&B, lovely hosts

Posted Sep 13, 2015 on Hotels
Enzo and Stanislao are wonderful hosts for a wonderful city. Their place is charming as promised and their passion for history and arts is contagious. The hotel has just been renovated and looks in harmony with Ortigia atmosphere. Our room was quiet and lovely with good bed and air condition (very important in sicily during summer)...

Great hosts, central location

Posted May 13, 2014 on Hotels
Enzo and Stanislov are extremely kind, friendly and knowledgeable hosts. We received a warm welcome and were given a good overview of the area and must-see attractions. We also received some fabulous recommendations for lunch and dinner. Siracusa is a nice, quaint, architecturally rich town. It was a brief stay, but a pleasant one which we enjoyed.

Excellent Siracusa b and b

Posted Oct 11, 2011 on Hotels
This b and b is in a great location to explore Siracuse. It is a beautifully restored townhouse, very quiet and comfortable. The breakfast is provided by a cafe opposite the Duomo, and there can be no better place to start the day. But best of all is Enzo, the owner. he is incredibly helpful and a huge enthusiast for the City and sicily in general. A mine of information and very engaging. We stopped for four days and had a great time.

Mind a few things here!

Posted May 10, 2015 on Hotels
Large and nice, clean room. Though smell of fungus and rather dark. Note that there are no breakfast at the property, but you get breakfasts tickets to a cafe 750 m away at the duomo which we found rather annoying. Parking is a challenge. There is a roof terrace with some cheap chairs and a construction site at the one end. No sea view. Host very friendly and helpful. Location super. But be aware if there is construction going on in the neighbouring building.

Hotel bien situé et bien tenu

Posted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: Chambre spacieuse

Vriendelijke service in charme-B&B

Posted Jun 1, 2014
Schone kamers. Nette douche- en toiletvoorzieningen. Sfeervol. Leuk dakterras.

The Charme Ares- Bed and Breakfast ist ein Kleinod

Posted Dec 26, 2011 on Hotels

Posted Nov 1, 2011 on Hotels
