What an Ambassador!!!

What a wonderful place to stay. Warm and friendly. The Hotel Ambassador, Wesley, was the highlight. We would stay there again just because of him.

Wesley's predecessor,, Parker taught him how important each guest was and to make them feel comfortable and at home. Disappointed

I recently stayed at this hotel for one night, and the reservation was a prepaid booking. The evening of my stay, I noticed that there was an extra $20 charge from your hotel in my checking account. When checking out the next day I asked at the desk and they told me that it was a normal charge and it was for incidentals or damages that might occur. I asked if it would be removed from my checking account and they said yes. However, after a few days it was still there. This has never happened to me before at any other hotels I've stayed at, and I've checked around and have found that hotels normally don't do this with a prepaid booking. I contacted Wesley Inn, and the Asst. Mgr., Patricia MacDonald said that it could take over a week to be removed from my checking account. I still don't know if this is standard policy at this hotel for everyone who stays there, and it was never mentioned to me upon check-in. Other than that, the rooms were nice, but a little dated. Also, it wasn't noticeable in the lobby, but once up in the room there was a fairly loud traffic noise. They do have a full breakfast in the mornings.

We understand about the rooms and have ordered new pieces to give them a fresh look and they should be here this spring. I am so sorry about the traffic noise. Always know that our staff would be happy to move you to a different room where you would be more comfortable. Your comfort is our concern. I do apologize for the authorization on your credit card during your stay. Each guest's bank handles the authorization differently, but often it will just drop off after 2-3 days, unless there is an actual charge. Often guests will prepay with a different card, so we get one from them at check in. I am so sorry this was not explained while checking in. Again, thank you for sharing your thoughts. It really does make a difference to us, as we want your time with us to be wonderful. It is our hope that you would return to the harbor and to the Wesley Inn again. Christmas with family

This was the noisiest room we've ever stayed in and we were on the top floor. The noise was coming from the TVs installed on the neighbors walls, one of which was at the head of our bed. The neighbor had the TV going till 2 am.
