Friendly Staffed Hotel

Pros: The best things about the hotel are the friendly staff, the cleanliness and the easy access to the freeway.
Cons: The breakfast could definitely use some upgrading. Why have instant oatmeal if you have no way to heat it well enough to make it edible?
Location: The best thing to me is that it is minutes from the Ruston Way waterfront which is beautiful for walking and has a multitude of great restaurants.
I stay at La Quinta in Tacoma almost every time I travel to Washington. Located on I-5, it is easy access to Seattle, Tacoma, Gig Harbor, Bremerton and other locations I visit. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. I have only used the dining room for the free breakfast and it is just okay. It has a pool and workout room which I always use and both are well kept.

Pros: I got clean towels.
Cons: better involvement of the employees and managers
After getting up at 3am to fly out of LAX arrive in Seattle for a wedding. We met up with family for lunch, mind you check in was 3pm. We arrived at 4:15 pm to the hotel tired and wanted to freshen up before a family dinner. They didn't have our room ready. REALLY!! And did nothing to correct this issue. I had to ask for an equivalent room as we have been up for 13 hours already. WOW no manager got involved.

Convenient location

Pros: Clean and comfortable
Cons: A little more attention to detail in bathroom. There was what appeared to be mold near the safety handle in the tub area. Maint. took care of it while
Location: Hotel was close to my friends home in puyallup.
Easy check in. Good parking. Room very cold about 62f when I walked in. Must be expensive to keep room at that temp.

Noisy and bad condition

Pros: Close to where my event was
Cons: Breakfast, many hotel guests were complaining also
Location: Too noisy if you are a light sleeper
Room was very noisy as the road noise woke us up all night besides having a dog barking somewhere down the hallway whenever someone was walking through the halls. One of the beds was sagging and uncomfortable. The entryway was nice. Frozen waffles, cold poached eggs, poor service as food was coming out late.

Great location

Pros: Easy access to I-5 and the room was clean and well decorated.
Cons: Windows that were more soundproof.
Location: Close to Glass Museum and Bridge of Glass.
Room was excellent, well appointed and comfortable. The location was good, with easy access to I-5. However the freeway noise was loud.

Good clean and quiet room

Pros: Clean room
Location: Pacific grill had wonderful small plates for dinner. Downtown historic area was mostly closed but looks like it could be interesting .
We stopped here to explore the area. This hotel was fairly close to the water district. We were here on Sunday so we enjoyed a quiet downtown. Try the Renaissance cafe for breakfast
