Pretty close to train and bus stations. Hotel is clean and comfortable but decor a bit dated. Breakfast is excellent.

It's a nicer-than-average hotel in the older section of Taichung City. The service is friendly, with an attentive English-speaking clerk ready to greet me. The rooms are clean, generally speaking. The carpet is a bit worn down, with some light stains. There is a distinct smell of cigarettes, but they've done their best to mask the odor. The beds are comfortable and clean. The bathroom has a decent sized shower stall and bathtub. Overall, I was pleased with the stay and will return.

The hotel provides free parking although parking space is limited. The room is also very spacious and in good conditions.

This is an old but well kept building. Fushin Hotel Taichung is the former site of Hongbin Hotel. Neil Alden Armstrong, the world-famous astronaut once stayed at the hotel in 1969.

Spacious room
Very spacious room with simple furniture. Hotel at a rather convenient location. Breakfast selection not impressive, especially regarding Western food. Room rate quite competitive.

Hotel to stay near TaiChung World Flower Expo
We came to visit the Orchid/flower/forest Expo ending Apr 2019 at TaiChung.The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Fushin Hotel is close to good restaurants pastry shops and attractions. The room is clean, quiet and It smells fresh. We should have planned more days.

This is a nice hotel. At the entrance, you can have free drink with their dispenser. The counter personnel were friendly. The check-in process was fast and without hassle. However, I booked a family room without amenity without fully understanding the implication. Therefore I was surprised that in the toilet only a piece of soap, some towels and one roll of toilet paper were provided. The toilet seat was the typical Japanese automatic type. I was later told that these provisions were for environmental protection purpose. But the next morning the current to the seat was switched off and we started to feel inconvenient to ' survive ' with only one roll of toilet paper for a family of three. Other than this, the hotel is clean and the laundry room provided at the basement is a big plus. We do enjoy our stay there.

A comfortable stay with excellent staff
We travelled from Australia with a 2 year old . Very convenient for us as it had a family market close by and shops to look around. A taxi ride to city centre . Excellent staff who speak English . I would come back again

Quiet hotel in a bid old city
It is in an old town area; however, less traffic that you could walk around to see many heritage buildings within 30 minutes. The value of the hotel is considered in top ranking around this old town area.

The hotel was great, Receptionists polite and professional. When we asked for travel recommendations, they even follow up on more options when it was available. However, it is not a 5min walk as advertised. More like a 15 mins walk from the station.

We don't have much time to explore surrounding area, but we see a lot of shops selling Lemon Cake near the hotel. The hotel staffs cant really speak English and we have to stuggle when we need to ask for direction.

This hotel is located near Taichung Station. The neighborhood is the older side of town so there isn't much shopping and eateries around. However it does have a very famous sandwich shop and an another famous Taiwanese ice dessert joint within a block away. The rooms are big and comfortable. The décor is a bit old but overall clean. Hotel wifi is quite fast (18mbs) tested. The breakfast buffest is okay but lack a bit of variety. The staff are friendly and helpful. Overall it's a good hotel in a not so busy neighborhood.

I was stayed 5 nights at this hotel for my BZ trip in Taichung. Compare with cost and convenience......it is fair enough. Front desk staffs are kind enough and communicable even with english except breakfast area. Room is clean but little smelly on headerside of bed which might came from floor side........(probably). but wifi connection, bathroom and others are good enough and well maintained.

We stay at this hotel for 5 days, it was good. Everything is perfect. The room is big and clean, the bed is very comfortable with king size. Just want to have input about internet connectivity that is very poor, and the quality of breakfast provided, must have another type of western food

It was a pleasant stay. Room was clean and spacious. Buffet breakfast was adequate. As I am a vegetarian, the waitress was nice enough to ask the chef to make an extra dish for me which was a very pleasant surprise. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Although the room couldn't access wifi connection, the staff solved the problem by providing an extra router in the room.

Personal trip was pleasant
I spent 4 nights there, and was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were simple but the bed linens were high quality, the lighting subtle, and on my 10th floor room, quiet. I am picky about these 3 things. The carpets everywhere were clean and no odors - often a problem in Taiwan. The standard was understated, modern, comfortable. The staff was exceptional and friendly. There are no significant extra facilities, tho I used the 10 foot square so-called fitness center. The breakfast is pure Chinese style, well prepared but limited in variety. If you don't eat Chinese breakfast, they usually had scrambled eggs, toast, and coffee. I will definitely consider staying here, again.
