Pet friendly hotel that had big rooms. Breakfast was great. I stayed for 6 nights and felt it was a good place to stay until I interacted with their staff. They are not rude but use the excuse that they are ‘new’ so that their staff may make mistakes. After cleaning the room, I noticed the 2nd room key was missing. I had left it in the wall on purpose. When I asked them to bring it back, the employee used the key to open the door without knocking first! Not thinking twice if there were anyone inside the room!!! Even if there were not someone inside, they should still knock. As per the LAW, after check in, no one is allowed to enter without permission. I told this to the counter and they said their staff was ‘new’ and that they were sorry. That’s the same excuse they used when I asked about a previous issue, which I won’t bother to mention. At first I thought, I would love to stay here again. After that interaction, I wouldn’t feel safe to stay there again.

Convenient hotel with good buffet breakfast
I stay at this hotel quite often. It's conveniently located (15mn taxi ride from Taichung train station, 20mn from the interciy bus terminals at Chaoma. At the bus stop in front of the hotel there are also buses that go to many parts of Taichung including the train station, Yizhong shopping area and Fengjia night market. The hotel is aging a little bit but still nice and comfortable, with everything a traveller would need. The buffet breakfast is very good, mostly Taiwanese food but also toast. The hot dishes are different from day to day. There is also a self-service laundry that costs only TWD30 for washing and another TWD30 for drying, washing powder is graciously provided at the reception. There is a small outdoor parking behind the hotel, and when there's no space left, you have to drive to a nearby parking (the hotel refunds a max. of TWD150 per day for the parking fees).

Overall good but toilet not good
I stay near CMUH hospital. Very near. Near hotel has a domino pizza and Japanese lamien. Room is ok clean. Aircon is good but toilet is big but old. Look dirty. Wi-Fi is good. Breakfast free and good.

We booked the room after reading the reviews but after staying realised that it was not worth the price. We stayed at 2 other cheaper hotels around the vicinity and those 2 hotels gave us a better overall experience.

A nice hotel near big shopping mall and night mark
Good points are large bed and big bath tub, seldom found in economical hotels, and tasty breakfast. A small short point is that the aisle between end of bed and the wall with tv is very narrow. As the aisle is the only route to the bathroom, it is very inconvenient, need to bend every time otherwise bumping the tv.

Convenient location with free parking. Staffs are friendly. Too much noise from the other room. Other residents were too loud(most of them were from China). Bed sheets were not really clean. Breakfast was okay. They offer different options.

The room is nice and spacious. If there can be an upgrade in the bathroom and provide a better and a little larger refrigerator, the total satisfaction will be even greater. The distilled water machine in the room is to our most convenient.

Comfortable and rather spacious room with nice design and view. (It is actually better than in the website photos) There is an in-room drinking fountain for hot or cold water. The buffet breakfast is very nice with lots of choices.

The mirror and TV are not in suitable location. The staff has supplied us with outdated transport information (bus route 115 to airport was suspended). Pickup service is good. Good breakfast too.

I only wished i could speak mandarin. Would have made the trip a more enjoyable one. Beautiful people. The town was super clean. Easy to get around. Great hotel service! :) definitely staying there again on my next trip.

The worst hotel I ever stayed!
I have traveled around the world for 30 years, and I-Deal Hotel is the worst hotel I ever stayed! Room is VERY small and bed against the wall that nobody could "walk" by the bed, and towels are dirty; there is no window in the room! I truly believe that we booked the room from Hotel.com and traveler being penalized by Hotel,com low price policy! Because there are room available!

空間大，價格便宜，隔音好，離一中街近。可是沒停車場，星期六那天晚上繞了附近好久才找到車位。另外清潔性不足，有些地方有異味。

不久前剛入住過，但這次入住觀感較差 1. 地點依然很優越 2. 櫃檯服務中規中矩 3. 房間清潔整理不佳 3-1. 浴室地板有之前房客遺留長髮 3-2. 移動式桌椅的地板處留有一大灘煙灰 4. 依然可以中午十二時退房很不錯 5. 此次房型隔音較差 以上

地點不差，服務好，能中午才退房很棒！ 房間整理也乾淨，附早餐（但口味見仁見智）； 雖是老房改建，但整體感覺還算不錯～性價比算高
