A comfortable hotel

It takes about 5-10min walk to the nearest metro station. And it takes around 10-15min by metro from the nearest station to Taipei Railway Station. Hotel staff provided very good service during the stay. They gave some useful shopping info near the hotel as well. The room was good but it wasn't soundproof enough for the noice outside the room (in the corridor).

Great experience with friendly staff. Convenient location near shopping, nightlife, and MRT stations. Self service laundry room great for extended stays.

It worths your money

Gala hotel provides a very clean room with very affordable price. It have lots Japanese tourist so it keeps japanese service standard with very excellent service at lobby and front desk. Space is narrow but acceptable. The only problem i can say is the entrace of bathroom has an extra step which is no good. Location is great. Two subway station within working distance. That area has many banks so it is a safe area and lots restaurant around so it is a good budget choice.

Not much to compliment nor picky about. The location is near a train station within walk-able distance. Was assisted during check-in by a not so friendly receptionist, other staffs were great and helpful though. Without the discounted price, there are more worthy 4* hotels to stay at.
