Not bad
The hotel is old and they host a lot of group tours which I think it leads to their slightly low score as it’s always a bit loud and crowded in the lobby. The WiFi is really slow inside the hotel room but if you reach out for help there is someway to solve it. Their service is actually not bad.

As a tourist my hotspot is very weak so I cannot upload anything on my phone and the hotels wifi was so weak. My hotspot has more speed than the hotels wifi. I also had an issue with turning off one of the lights. I can turn every light off in the room except one so I took my power card out and couldn’t even charge my phone because of that light. How am I suppose to sleep at night?

great for the price
The room was very modern and clean and it was very comfortable. It was great for the price. The only thing I didn't like was the reception area was not welcoming and a little depressing.

Nice and comfortable
We booked a 2 double bedroom (without window) to our surprise, it was very nice and comfortable. Service staffs are all very friendly. Definitely will come stay again.

Great location, and our room was quite large. The hotel is a bit dated, so everything looked like it had been used for many years. The price is good for what you get - decent beds and our bathroom was large and spacious

Stay close to main MRT Station
The room was clean, This hotel is close to Taipei Main MRT station and a grocery store and general shopping, so that makes it very convenient. All the amenities in the room were good. The breakfast was okay but the place where we ate breakfast is not very inviting.

Good hotel for business stay. Not very fancy. But all basic needs are taken care very well. Location is also good. Carry international converter for charging phone / laptop etc

Not a bad hotel for the price. Close to transport and shops. But the staff could be more helpful in regards offering help with the luggage. Also had problems communicating with the front desk. As the staff couldn’t understand basic English language

so love this small hotel. Staff was very nice. the bed is so comfortable. the room is quite small but wasnt a problem for us. rest room is good. love the shower. cleanliness is good. so love it.

Rooms were newly renovated so the design is quite modern and bed was sufficiently comfortable. We arrived about 1pm but had to wait till 3+ before we could check in. There were many guests waiting for their rooms too and the sofa in the lobby could only accomodate a few guests. When we tried to wait in the cafe, the wanted to charge us $50 per person for sitting there even though it belongs to the hotel. The hotel should provide proper waiting area, rather than let the guests stand around waiting.

Thank you for your comments and feedback. we are sorry because there are lots of guests were doing check out / wish to check in around the time when you arrive; so might be full in lobby and no seat for everyone. we are sorry there is not enough seats in the lobby; we will report to upper level for solution. The coffee shop is not belong to hotel, so they have the right to charge for seat if guests are not ordering coffee. Both issue we will will report to upper management for some solution. Once again, thank you for your valuable feedback.

Decent hotel located near the main taipei train station and Ningxia nohht mkt. We had a room ln floor “R” , R for restaurant floor. This made it noisy on the mornings were people were moving their chairs. Welcome supermart right next door.

A bathtub within a shower!
On our first night, we were given a room right next to the elevator shaft as it turns out. The walls are thin so we couldn't sleep due the constant noise of the elevator going up and down. The management did agree to change our room the next day which satisfied us. The bathroom was very uncomfortable though. Not sure if this setup is in every room but there is a short bathtub inside the shower. I think the bathtub was an afterthought when someone complained that there was no bathtub. The trouble is that the bathtub is very high and you have to use both hands on the tub to climb in. This is the most thing in the room. The space in the room is quite compact. There is a luggage rack for only one suitcase. The complimentary breakfast buffet caters to both western and Asian tastes. However, the selections are about average in selection and quality. Their eggs are overcooked. Location of hotel is good though. It is 10 minutes from Taipei Main and also closest to the Airport MRT portion of Taipei Main Station.

Convenient location, helpful staff
Extremely helpful staff. My friend sprained her ankle and the hotel staff offered ice packs on request. They also allowed flexibility for extending our booking for half a day so my injured friend could rest in the room.
