This was a really nice hotel and close to the airport with free shuttle. I really enjoyed my stay. The staff was really friendly and helpful. There's not much of a walking distant to anything because it's in the airport area. But other than that, it's really convenient. I would come back.

I loved everything about the Novotel Taipei. The buffet restaurant was amazing, staff helpful and friendly. Room was modern, clean and spacious. King-size bed and pillows were super-comfortable. I had the best sleep after 10days travelling. I highly recommend this hotel - wish I could have stayed longer but unfortunately it was only an overnight stopover for a connecting flight early morning.

Good airport hotel, but have to depend on shuttle bus as there’s no walk way to the terminal. The shuttle is every 30 min…. Quite long wait

We booked the hotel for the convenience of the shuttle bus. However we couldn’t get it because it was full. The mass transit does not start until 6:00 am. Very disappointed.

Great layover. I had a 14 hour layover and Novotel was 5 minutes from the airport. Excellent staff and a great room. Clean and modern, I will use this hotel for any Taipei layovers in future.

The property is located very close to TPE so that’s a plus. But there is not much around the hotel, so wherever you want to go you have to either take a cab or take the Taoyuan AirPort Express or commuter train. Takes 30 -45 minutes to get into city centre. However, it’s terrific if you need to take a trip to fly somewhere. We took a short side trip to HK. You can leave your luggage prior to your check in to the hotel.

For room: I don't really like the carpet floor(highly suggest to change to hardwood floor, it would look much better and clean). I like the design of separate toilet room and shower room. For restaurant: I had dinner on the second floor in that Chinese restaurant, service is good, but the food is just ok, taste not really Chinese authentic, it pretty much for foreign people. For service: I tried to make a massage service appt at 8pm(it wasn't that late) but I was told it was full and all have been booked, I was kind of disappointed. Hotel should have more staff available.

Novotel Taoyuan is located near the Taipei Taoyuan Airport but it is some distance away. The hotel is easily accessible by MRT but may cost NT$300 by taxi outside of MRT operating hours.

The hotel has 24 hour restaurant which is very nice. However, there is no any other restaurant or shops nearby. I will suggest to have meal at the airport first if you want to choose your own food. The transportation is easy and convenient. Hotel provides free shuttle. You also can take subway there, which is just one stop away from terminal 2. The subway station is just right next to the hotel.
